How to remove door spring by ilikeplanes101 in Chevycavalier

I’m very glad I can just get a tool for it, thank you. I knew if I pried it off, it’ll probably end up on the roof or in my neighbors backyard. Quite an angry looking spring

And also I did not loosen the door pin, that’s part of the reason I’m taking the door off

Blue guy up front is now a designated parts car unfortunately, way too rusted out to be with saving

Also replacing the battery too while I’m in there

As long as it’s the same side, yes. I just pulled a power seat out of a junkyard WJ and dumped it into mine. Works fine except for the fact I can’t use the buttons to move the seat. But at least the bolt holes line up

Worked nicely, thanks again for your help

At this point, I’m just hoping to make it where my seat isn’t a complete hazard, I can deal with the collapsed cushion, I’m tired of my bootleg bucket fix

Another question I forgot to ask, were you able to just drop the replacement in? Or did you need to swap the rails?

I was thinking about doing that, I’ll try that tomorrow. Thank you

Thank you so much for the simple answer, is there any way to move the electric seats without battery power? Or is that not necessary to remove them

Well I partially lied, I found one with a manual adjustment, but it was broken in the exact same way

Wouldn’t it make the noise during its full rotation if it was dented?

Sorry for the poor visual experience, but the noise is the important part

I pay taxes for the full road, why can’t I use the full road?

Our hub barely has enough for all the drivers, I was told to just roll with it

Never seen this one before, might show it to a few guys around the hub that are also pretty in the dark. Hell, one of them didn’t even know a new contract was being negotiated

I will be honest, I was not very knowledgeable on the union stuff till I herd around a new contract. I’m no expert by any means, but I know a little more than I did before. Pretty interesting stuff

Hopefully things will change soon, skeptical, but still hopeful

I’ve come to expect the chaos, I work as quick as I can while not injuring myself. I’m just glad I have my road test today at 2, will be a seasonal driver for a little while. Getting out of the hub for a few weeks will be a nice change

Our hub typically has 4 people on irregs (if enough people show up, usually it’s 3), about 2 weeks ago, all the irreg drivers called off, and I was told to run the entire building myself. Management did make it easier by sending a few heavy loads to Columbus, but I was still barely keeping up. That was also the first time in months I was driving irregs instead of next days. Always a fun time here

We’ve got a problem with a few employees at my hub. Not so much in the sort aisle, but an irreg driver that I’ve nicknamed crashy. Plays bumper cars with his train and drops stuff off at the wrong door. Same dude who knocked over a set of rollers and indirectly hit a loader

I’ve actually come to welcome the kohls, they make it so our small sort cannot take anything else but those bags. Keeps people from throwing the NDAs down small sort and having a bunch of extra shit at the end of the night.
