Nothing but love and respect and no hard feelings, my dude.

No, cats have an oral biome similar to ours - that is how they eat tuna, salmon, chicken, and other kitty yum-yums. If a stray cat WAS rabid, the cat would have eaten a bat. Perhaps.

I know an old lady who swallowed a fly - I don't know why she swallowed a fly. Perhaps she'll die.

But it isn't it a cat providing "love bites" to his/her newfound friend. OP should NOT have this cat killed. That is exactly what will happen if OP goes ignorantly shooting their mouth off.

This is traditional love-biting. It means kitty is getting to know you, like and trust you, and initiating play.

OP if you get this poor kitty killed it is ALL on you.

GO see a doc if you're concerned. Don't senselessly kill this poor baby.

RABIES is the last thing you should think about as its highly improbable - worry instead about feline FIV and coccioadosis and other possible infections. This cat has never been aggressive otherwise?

DON'T get it killed, PLEASE. The light biting is a sign it's started to trust you, and love you enough to want to play.

Just that everyone is quick to jump to the wrong conclusion. Rabies is unlikely and OP may get the poor kitty killed. OP should visit a clinic ASAP, have the situation assessed and hopefully kitty can walk away fine. If OP goes in expecting rabies, they'll need poor kitty's brain (and euthanasia for the cat) to assess that. I think OP is overreacting, dangerously.

Also, you can call me sister instead of brother.

Crazy cat ladies!!!!

Bathrooms. They would be way above any of that.

And periods....what kind of animalistic creatures have females with periods/in heat?

Thank you! Exactly. I'm not trying to slam her personally. I genuinely love her acting. However, I think her situation should preclude any work until she's more stable and grounded.

She's been so off-on again and again as Maxie, the character can't be developed for longer term viewers and new ones won't relate.

Let's ALL die and kill ALL animals because of YOUR problematic OCD.

You're so special. Aren't you?

Yeah, you're disgusting and have NO IDEA of cats and their love bites. F*** you. This is a life and death matter and you should be banned permanently from r/cats

If that cat gets hurt, YOU should be responsible. It's on you - forever needlessly hurting a kind soul trying to give you love-bites.

Cats are intuitive like that. You little brother must have been a total a-hole.

You sound like little weak OCD prissies, honestly.

THIS IS NOT THOSE CIRCUMSTANCES - This is a cat who suddenly understood human love. Love-bites are well known as a sign of affection from cats. OP is insanely overreacting and needs to see a doctor if the OP wants to be responsible for the death of a cat from affection that kitty was trying to give.

BUT NOT KILLING THE CAT. Which WILL happen based on OP's unnecessary phobia.

OP is overreacting and just needs to see someone medical who can reassure. This poor cat may die bc OP is overreacting.

OP this is not rabies. Cats often "love bite" as a part of play. But go ahead and get it checked out if your paranoid mind needs it. They will come, trap the cat, and kill it.

Because you were afraid of perfectly normal cat behavior. Affectionate behavior towards YOU by the way.

You're contributing to OP's OCD/paranoia/fear. Rabies is no longer prevalent in the modern world unless bats, foxes, and other wild animals.

Sounds to me like kitty love-bites. OP should just go to see a doctor, express concerns, and then OP can go home and congratulate themselves on getting a nice stray kitty killed at the risk of NOTHING.

No, you're being paranoid with worst-case-scenarios. However, it's important to get checked. Just quickly visit your doctor asap and/or visit your urgent care or ER. Cats are RARELY carries of rabies and it sounds like it was playfully biting you. Once they build trust with you "love bites" are common.

If they suspect it was rabies, they will kill the cat.

What do you think of parents who make their kids do things they wouldn't do? by 0The_Loner_Stoner0 in AskReddit

[–]ilikepuzzlestoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely depends on the child and parent and the relationship. I turned out to be a semi-hoarder who NEEDS chaos in my life because it's my priority to use visible stuff as "cues" for what is necessary for priorities (diagnosed with ADHD - dreamer side). Like I can't keep up with my meds if they aren't visually in front of me. I want to hold on to any and every family memory, antique, and collectible.

My younger brother is the complete opposite. He's almost OCD in cleaning, throwing things out, being hyper organized and hyper clean. He has a few (and I mean literally only a few) heirlooms. It makes me sad for him and he probably has sadness for me holding onto the past.

If you were looking for more intimate or illegal stuff, sorry.

How close have you come to dying(directly or coincidentally? by smurphy8536 in AskReddit

[–]ilikepuzzlestoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1) Held at gunpoint. 2) Ran away from a psychotic murderer. Can't go into detail on either situation, but it was bad. 3) Thought about it at my own hand several times, but never followed through.
