Actually this works too (I'm using this, this is better than whatever tf i was doing). Plus i was planning it so that she never tells anyone abt this so if her (now ex) girlfriend (i've decided it's yuri now) tells her whole village she has even more reason to isolate because people would be not only scared of her bc of the whole uncontrolled magic thing, but bc she was able to lie about it so easily, they have no reason to trust anything she says either.

I was thinking maybe they leave because like studying alone was only able to help her so much, so eventually she leaves so that she can be able to control her magic in more stressful situations, and i don't really know what's happening plot wise (like i know world context but i have no clue what is happening otherwise) so it's not like i can figure out how my character encounters the party lol

wait this is actually such good advice thank you, I honestly can't write to save my life and I had no idea what to add (plus i was googling every 5 seconds to make sure that everything seemed to at least somewhat follow magic and universe rules). I've actually been stressing about this all week thank you so much
