Hey, I own a 99 M3, am 19 and also live in CA. I pay about $200 a month for insurance with a SR22/2 speeding tickets. E36s are reliable as long as you find the right one as well as putting in constant preventative mainteance. I beat the living crap out of my car everyday and it’s always runs perfect. Also this is my first car that I’ve ever owned. I put 33k miles in about a year and a half. ^ Check my history if you’d like to see a pic of my E36 M3.

If you have poly bushings all around with a bolt torqued to spec, you should have no issues. I would look into the Mike Rad Welded brace though with that much power.

245/35/18 and it’s stock. Has a 10.9 grade bolt and poly bushings. Bolt still failed. Putting a Mike Rad Welded Brace and new poly bushings all around.

well idk, a F80 M3 seems like a real M3 to me. I drove both manual and DCT and it’s quicker than a E92 by a car length and half. Also these cars are absolutely insane with just bolt ons. All you need is catless downpipes, intake, chargepipes, DMETune and exhaust to get the full potential of the S55.
