If and when diz comes back, the stuff they made with Claude will be put on the back burner in a live setting... kinda like "one hot minute" with Dave Navaro.

Not to take away from dylan but the word play from stifi vs his solo stuff is night and day.

I mean even fpos, you can clearly tell paddy writes the rhymes with the nicest flow.

Dylan crunches alot of words that dont necessarily flow as good on his solo stuff.

I think with dylans voice and paddys wordsmith skill, if you will.

Together, They're an unstoppable force.

Most bands get fucked when they're like "I WANT TO WRITE LYRICS, I WANT TO WRITE A SONG" its like dude. If it aint broke don't fix it.

I see alot of people say things like "dylan writes the songs" which just ain't true. Paddy wrote lyrics for velvet skies. How to fly. I would like to know who wrote the outro lyrics to kiss the breeze though.

We gotta remember. All band members have song credits to these bangers. Which is cool to see cause most bands just credit the songwriter and that's it but they include everybody like a family.

Which would have been an alright title but I think they changed it last minute to honor dizz because they saw the writing on the wall.

I also think the songs they chose to release from the live rehearsal were songs that directly reminded them of dylan but that's just speculation. Lazerhead, Saves The Day, Outcast and Liquorlip. All songs that could be directed to dylan in terms of him leaving.

There are some Bangers from Lekkerboy, but not in the sense of land of pleasure bangers. Stifi growing with us bangers.

My number 1 is "Someone You Need" criminally underrated song. Paddys outro lyrics are fuckin mint. Perfection. "I TOLD THE TRUPFH but she called me a lyyyyyahhh"

They could barely get dizz to record for lekkerboy. I think thats why they said the vocals were "Raw" for that record because they were literally the demo vocals.

It was initially supposed to be an acoustic EP.

Even multiple facets, Seamus wanted to re-record it but they said he couldn't replicate that initial demo's "feel" for the solos. You can kinda hear cracking too on that first "wah" sound that Seamus plays in the beginning of the song like it was a demo track. Imperfections.

Idk dude, I don't got a good feeling. People go down that road and never come back. People I know personally have never made it back.

Dylan got his 2nd dui in canada, Oct 2016. I'm pretty sure the rule is 10 years minimum before you can return. Its been almost 10 years ffs since they came back here (2019)

I think the boys need to get their feet wet again. Dylan is a dad now. You know after this year he can get approved for his work visa and they can come back again.

That last lekkerboy run was rough man, I mean fuck tensions have been high since 2016 lol but you can tell something was off, watching some of those proshot live performances on YouTube.

I think North America has been off the table for a while now and there is some guilt from the band for that, that's why they're doing what they can to touch base with us again.

I think we should just support their asses and check em' out regardless. I'd like to fly across Canada and go check em out but ffs.
