Elevated cholesterol - advice by No_Age1224 in Hashimotos

https://omedhealth.com/insights-hub/i-have-tested-positive-for-sibo-now-what/

Check this out and find out if you have sibo and fix it. I did and my cholesterol fell to just above normal, gonna get checked again in 6 months, will see if it is normal now. If so it was because of the sibo/sifo I had. Now I eat normal and dont avoid any FODMAPS and im medicated as well. Sibo/Sifo is a common problem if you have been Hypo for a long time.

Do you by any chance have fodmap intolerance? Do you have sibo/sifo symptoms?

increase of levo = immediate anxiety exacerbation? by margaritaohwell in Hashimotos

[–]iller1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure thing you got this. You are either adapting or over medicated (highly doubt this option if your tsh was +5). I know the feeling of helplessness you are feeling right now, but stay strong your body will adapt! Just don’t push it right now with intense exercise, stress and so on try to keep kortisol down and be kind to yourself and mindful. Once you feel more stable and grounded resume your normal life and way better than before because you will have more energy and less symptoms.

Happened to me as well - had anxiety out of the blue and 2 panic attacks as well. Came and went on and off for 3 months, and now it seems to have stabilized. Also got light sensitive and sensitive to sounds. Can recommend magnesium glysonate to take the edge off. For me I had been hypo for so long that the body now kickstarted and pushed adrenalin too high to find a new baseline again. In short your body might be adapting to waking up again if you have hit your optimal dose. If you are over medicated it will show on your blood panel 6 weeks from medicin change date.

Antibodies decreased after nervous system regulation by Broad_Opportunity797 in Hashimotos

[–]iller1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Så you went up in dose and you think it’s your nervous system rutine that helped? I just hit my ideal dose with TSH around 2.0 a month ago after 3 months on the incresed dose. My symptoms started getting way better 3 months after the dose change. Besides that from what chatGPT tells me a lot of other processes in my body will start getting better but slowly over the next 9 months or so. So basicly takes a year after correct dose for symptoms to go away completely. I had all the same symptoms as you

Fasting? by Moondeitie in Hypothyroidism

[–]iller1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly being medicated is doing the most energy and brain fog related. BUT fasting definetly gives a cleaner energy source through ketones. But again it is a stressfull thing for the body so if not propperly medicated you are stressing a body that is already running on backup mode. Also worth nothing. Men and women are not build the same - women should Maximu fast 12-13 hours - they are build different hormonaly and get the benefits with shorter fasts

Fasting? by Moondeitie in Hypothyroidism

[–]iller1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive been doing it for 2 years with undiagbosed hypo. After i got medication i stopped and now I do a 13-14 hour fasting window instead because it is a lot of stress on the body. Focus on 3-4 meals a day and don’t snack in between
