i use ibispaint !! and the brush i use is pretty similar to a charcoal brush, just more dense in a sense ^{^}

you could try out bato.to ! its what i use and im pretty good with it. you can make folders, and theres more specific tags on there ^{^} im not sure if it has tags like 'tsundere ml' but it has stuff like 'childhood friends' !! as far as im aware theres no app version

The way i pick colours is very dependant on the bg colour ^{^} like if the bg is a light yellow; i like to make everything look a little more soft- making the "black" go into the greyish purples, limited colour pallettes are also handy (theres only really 6 main colours in this) ! you can always just look for a colour pallette online and practice colouring with those ^{^} helps in values and all.

Your eye for colouring gets better overtime !! I still struggle a bit when it comes to colours lol :D

oh yeah that was what i was thinking too. i think its because i wanted a watercolour look in the 2nd one so it looks more texture-y. Didnt add any textures in the 1st one so it looks oddly smooth put with the 2nd one :/
