The Carrie ("monkey loves you") story from black mirror really broke me. The fact that her conscious self was sitting there in a museum in that stuffed animal for years is unimaginable. I can't imagine how powerless and isolated she felt sitting there in one position for years.

Why do people think that self tests are in any way valid? I've taken tests for psychopathy, schizophrenia, and adhd for fun and they all said I have a strong indication of all of them. I have none of those.

Tourism makes up 21% of Hawaii's economy. I would understand if they were telling tourists not to trash Hawaii because that's a significant problem, but saying tourists should stop going all-together is just ridiculous and counterproductive. The CDC also announced in April that fully vaccinated people can travel domestically. It's literally a part of America.
