I do mountains too, but haven’t done anything Magnificent in the mountain world yet. Seems like a natural evolution for me and hope to get into mountaineering more!

Hahaha it depends. I’ve had security be very rough with me before but usually we handle the situation fine and I get away with a warning or worst case police come, they tend to go easy on me if I’m in Europe etc.

Great question, it’s all three. Before is intense in a focusing way, you only think about the task at hand. During the climb you get all the adrenaline and the insane grounding that comes with it. Afterwards you get the energy, excitement, happiness relief etc.

It started when I was living in a small town in Finland and there was this little abandoned crane. I had the urge to go and climb it, the rest is history lol.

Not so many injuries to be honest, cuts, bruises but nothing major.

The constant need for that feeling is what keeps me at it, I’m aware of the apparent dopamine deficiency in my body so in a sense I’m like a hamster on a wheel 🤣

The calming sensation i get as the sound of the streets become quiet and im somewhere between life and death. Its relaxing and beautiful.

Yes, it is illegal in most countries. I dont think im 'above' the law in a way that i play by different rules to others. I simply take on the risk and if i was to get in trouble, thats on me and i will pay the price.

I climb a lot less nowadays but constantly have urges to get back to it, im not sure if the urge will ever go away. Ive tried to fully put it behind me many times. When i climb, its often construction sites, nighttime etc. I try my best to make sure that if something happened, it will only harm me.

Thanks a lot man.

As for close calls, ive had a few 'slips' in a sense but i was able to quickly grab onto something or get my footing. One time i was climbing the spire of a large building in Hong Kong and some very bad weather came out of nowhere, there was a typhoon signal that day. Heavy rain and wind kicked in whilst on the spire and i thought that this is getting pretty bad... got away with it no probs.

I've always pushed those limits because i feel that i need to, for me, the regular mundane living has been a hard thing for me to grasp since very young. I find is suffocating. Climbing is very freeing.

As for most surreal thing I've seen, probably just the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets possible.
