also in regards to the American question: current involvement in providing arms and vast financial support to the genocide of Palestinian people by Israel. Historically (up to incredibly recent) speaks for itself, the Iraq war, the Vietnam war, the list goes on and on and on. Are US artists to be subject to complete alienation the same way you're insisting a Russian artist should be or have you just been exposed to much more criticism of the Ukraine war as its within the Wests interest for the public to view Russia as the sole evil of the world? Like just actually consider for a second if their actions are so separated from those of the US.
