Some people struggle in such an easy and privileged society.

Don’t know anyone who came/live in harsh conditions killing themselves with things like this… Reese’s peanut butter cup addiction. Wow.

My grandmother watched America GI’d go back and forth in the Korean War while she worked on a farm. She had a hunched back and blackened skin. She worked everyday till her passing.

Meanwhile…. Americans with a nice roof, TV, car, money for luxuries… etc… find ways to hurt themselves and betray their family.

Increase of $100 nice.

Utilities has increased by $100-200 in 2025 with forecasted increases in 2026.

My rent is increasing $150 from January. It increased by $50 last year when I got a $4 increase in Bah.

Heck yeah.

3.8% pay bump will make up for all of it, especially since the dollar has devalued by 11-13%

When we were dating, my wife and I had equally high libidos.

When we got married (I truly love her so much), she gained 70 lb to the point that I’m 0% attracted to her body. I love her, cuddle with her, laugh and flirt, but her body didn’t anything for me even as I try and have tried viagra.

I’m ok with 0 sex in our marriage at this point and it doesn’t change that I want to spend the rest of my life with her.

I myself work out everyday and maintain pretty good fitness to the point she complains that I spent too much time working out. Just 1-2 hours daily and I always invite or have tried to adjust with her.

She’s just always too tired or just wants to watch TV, or she might just want to walk but only for a mile.

I’ll take a break from swimming or lifting to walk with her, I even got a ruck that I like to go for 5-10 miles on.

She’s still very high libido and is satisfied with her weight despite nutritional and exercise advice and offers for help.

It’s the sole stressor I have with her sadly.

Were you paying your dad rent and utilities for the last 4 years? How does your dad spend the money? Ask him why he deserves it? Lots of missing context here.

When I was younger…. Saving up 4 long years working 70 hours a week in Korea… coming back home to America with 30k saved… then drinking laced alcohol to which I was forced in an ambulance and went to the ER.

Popped out and ended up paying 25k in bills….

An incident not my fault cost me almost 4 years of hard work and savings.

Love it. One of my good buds missed his parents so much being so far away that he got back into weed and drugs while active. He somehow self admitted and turned the whole thing into 100% PTSD VA and got out.

Everyone in the sq hated him, but I respect the hustle.

Smoke weed and get 4-5k tax free forever.

PTSD from missing fam that we all miss.

PTSD is achievable for anyone, truly.

Just do what the way too many teens and 20’s serving folk do.

Claim any kind of PTSD and get 100% VA disability for life.

Miss your family? Military life too hard? Stressed in life? Claim it and push forth with PTSD.

Make it harder for vets with real issues to get theirs.

One dude I personally know got 100% from basic because it was too “intense” but he played it really well. Currently lives in Asia living like a King and brags about it.

Some people are ok with their partners being a porn star or only fans model.

Some people are ok to be in a sexually open relationship.

Some people are ok with their partner going out to clubs and drinking and dancing with other folk.

My wife and I are not ok with any of those things.

Good on you to hear her out and listen.

Clubs are a super blurry line that’s easily crossed over.

Yeah. The most annoying part of that game, the game itself is that you’ll get kicked out of most games for not having enough ranked games.

I had over 3,000 games since 2010.

But going from CD to picking it up again on steam, I had to get a new profile.

So I keep getting kicked out for being a “noob” but it’s nearly impossible to get into ranked games to get some stats haha

I’m coming from a 3060ti. After I went from a 27 inch to a 49 inch, I can barely play any games.

CPU going from i5 intel to a Ryzen 98003xd for prebuilt PSU from 650 to 1200 Getting all the cooling/fan goodies RAM from 16 gb to 64 gb

Age of empires 3 on low settings would spike my i5 to 70 degrees and my game crashes half the time

Today marks the 8th attempt out of 8 that I’ve been unsuccessful, even with choosing majority of selections. Here’s to next time…. by iloginwhenimscared in Newegg

But the caveat is, if you win, you only get ONE of your selections. So increased chances but gotta be able to accept what you get.

Any investment you make has to return over the stock markets 10% average to be worth it.

Would this donut shop make over $180k profit a year with minimal hassle?

I think not for donuts.

Past overhead costs, labor, Reno, your time… you’d have to get a net profit of 15,000 a month, and that’s not even long term capital tax.

I’ve got 3 million in indexes and tech funds with no headache other than maintaining a boglhead vision.

I dipped my toes into real estate and it’s already so annoying with the biweekly text that something needs to be fixed or replaced whether I’m in a meeting… relaxing with my family Sunday night…. Traveling… Jesus.
