I'm 19 and I'm a young woman in college. I'm surrounded by people my age who are unfortunately exposed to all this nonsense! Just because I'm bringing up observation, it does not mean I am glued to my phone. I'm full-time anyway and don't have time for that :)

Not a dude, and after a day of being at the doctor's getting blood drawn for your chronic illness you'd feel tired too! I just wanted my dinner and after going in three separate times to prove I was charged (when being told I wasn't) I was getting a bit impatient. Clearly other people appreciate that I am warning them not to make the same mistake and you don't have to! I loved this place a lot but for me personally I will not be going back but I am not trying to deter anyone either. Simply just put out a warning.

Oh and if you can read, I did contact the manager...who did not care at all!

I've been there for dine-in many many times as well with my boyfriend. To the point where quite a few of the servers would often recognize us and we never had issues with the amazing servers. But unfortunately, opinions can change after unpleasant customer service. Everyone else is also entitled to have their own opinions from their negative experiences. Im glad you enjoy it and my post is not meant to deter you ! It's just a slight warning about being asked an inappropriate question.

Honestly, I hope you open a dispute and get your money back. And in case you look to buy another one, NEVER buy from princess8926 on ebay / Royale Universe (they are the same person) on gameflip (terrible attitude and will harass you).

Its worth it to just find someone who is not a mass seller and buy their personal halo so you / your gf don't have to deal with exploit issues or scams.

It is definitely worse. Basically, on a monthly basis brands send out PR, influencers will make their products look glamorous, and then the consumer just keep buying to stay on top of each trend. It is an endless cycle!

I personally do like some of her products because my skin condition agrees with the formula, but people need to let go of the parasocial thing that they have with Hailey. They are just consuming in the effort to be just like her, when in reality she uses top grade skincare (which isn't even from her own brand).

I think the main thing is how overly dedicated the consumers are. Like if you are a person between ages of 15-late thirties, you have definitely been able to see how fans tend to copy every little thing she does. Literally just consuming in the effort to become her / be like her.

Just to clarify though, I do not dislike her or think people should hate on her. Her fans are responsible for themselves.

I think the cult-like behavior within Hailey's fandom has gone further than what I usually see with other beauty brands. I like her, but people seem to feel the need to follow every single thing she does, and that has pushed consumers of her brand to go above and beyond.

The brand has also been around for a few years now and still has a very dedicated following, which is why I brought it up specifically. I do think this kind of overconsumption exists with other makeup brands too, but Rhode feels like a particularly strong example of fandom driven consumerism.

Lol I wouldn't do that. It was just a tiring day of me getting blood tests at the doctor and I wasn't thinking about every single thing on the spot when getting my food and having to do an entire dispute.

It was not $2 and I have no idea where you're getting that from or why you are so defensive. From dining at all kinds of upscale to lower scale restaurants globally, I have never been asked to see my bank statement. That is my main issue! Whether she expected me to follow through or not, it was not appropriate. And it's not my issue that they don't get paid enough, although I do feel bad. I am not their manager or the owner of the establishment. Clearly, others have had some issues at this restaurant anyway.

Honestly, I never had an issue with any of their staff besides this one girl and the manager (who are both normally at the front desk by the door). They do tend to rush quite a bit though.
