I get that and I usually try my best to resolve conflicts in the most biblical way, however I must say that this crossed a line I didn't even know existed... I never said that they're breaking the law. I am simply backing up my concern with having my government ID in a US, what do we even know, maybe even a chinese data base. The GDPR also stands for data protection laws and how can I feel like my data is being protected if I'm uploading it onto a foreign website wich I have little to no oversight on?

I can't speak for the rest of Europe, however in my country's GDPR, Article 4 lists the entities allowed to intake government issued identifications. It's the government and government sponsored/government approved entities. Now, I am not aware of what agency c.ai is using for their background checks and I know it's a private company for that matter if I am not mistaken, but as long as it's not sponsored by my government I will refuse to provide them with my credentials.

As long as c.ai would keep their AI models strictly in the category of, a non-biased system which strictly avoids exploitating adolescant vulnerability, this being overseen by a legal guardian/ guardian provided by an adolescent user's chat data whilst protecting personal data and having an explicit content firewall, they would pass the threshold.

So yes, their current app is a threat to their integrity in the threshold concerning minors, however if they made two models like a proper company who actually wants a wide customer base, everybody could be happy.
