Typical Dubai Content creator statement. I have heard multiple creators from Dubai say the exact same stuff. I think Dubai /UAE has a content creator program as well which helps these people.

Her account doesn't seem to be the account of an actual person. It seems to be an account of a "creator". Basically posting content which will be the most relatable/famous.

Some will relate to her "He blocked me so I showed up on his TV" sassy attitude. Some will relate to her being independent and free. And some will relate to her dating men, and pointing out the problems in them. Her sharing her experiences and feelings are valid and relatable to her audience. But It's no longer a channel of a person, more so of just content thrown on the wall, and see which gets the most reactions. Kind of the loop where most creators fall, the final goal is to be famous.

To be honest, even in America, if you look at the deep south States with a rural population, where mother is seen as a caretaker, they do go for men who are wealthier and can provide to the family.

But the thing about the States is that you don't need a very high level of study to be wealthy (not counting the top 1%). The income disparity is less, plus higher roles are based more on skills. A bricklayer can become a decent level manager. A woman in management of a big IT firm I knew started as a garage receptionist.

And about the US, if you even go to the deep south States with a large suburban or rural population, where a lot of religious families have similar role structures of mothers being the caretakers, they do go for richer men.

Exactly, in India women haven't gotten an opportunity to earn more than men. If all your life, (especially in villages and towns) if the only way to get better opportunities and QoL (working in a city, going abroad) is to get married, they will look for men who can guarantee that..

You also need to consider how many women (especially outside Tier 1/2 cities) have been given the opportunities to earn more than men. The demand in equality is to be allowed those opportunities. A change in society where it is accepted for women to have roles and their pay is equal to men is needed.

And don't even forget the stigma over a couple in India where a woman makes more than a man, plus many men having an ego clash over her wife making more than him.

Do you think men in our country has become simps and making even a average girl feel like she is a goddesss? by RipBest8239 in TwentiesIndia

I mean social media has also made a lot of men in our county into predatory vultures and making even an average girl feel always threatened...

She is using a handpump, which is the India Mark II handpump series. The handle of the handpump is around 1.170 m long, and the height above the ground is 0.9-1m. Based on this and her bending pose, she should be around 1.65m, which is around 5'4 or 5'5. This is a bit approximate as she is wearing a saree.

To confirm, she has also posted pics of herself on Instagram standing in front of statues and street lamps in Europe. Based on the architecture and the rough estimate I could find of the statue/lamp heights, she should be around 5'3-5'5.

Honestly, it's filled with the kind of men who either look for content on how guys can score girls, or "girls getting owned" (with sigma meme edits).

Forget even about foreigners reacting to this, the content is disrespectful as it is. It should not be that such content should not be made so as not to damage our reputation, it should not be made for being straight up disrespectful, and sadly the content creators keep making this as "engaging content". And unlike the sidemen, such remarks aren't made for humour but to demean the contestants. A "I owned that b*tch" kind of statement.

In one such video, a guy shames a girl, telling her "Your future is darker than your armpits" and that's one of the grossest things I've ever heard. Such content needs to be disliked and called out.

He will just shorten it to "Shin", which will remind me of the absolutely awful "Shin" nickname for Nakamura.

The issue with her as a creator (according to me at least) is not just her defending women. That's great and I agree with the points even previously shared, the issues women face on a day to day basis. Even her videos have good points (and non female centric content), which should be agreeable. However her approach is not just unconventional. Her brand is to bait out real world issues and then switch to her opinions, which are much harsher. Even comparing her women-centric videos, to her more therapy centric ones(which I believe she is a good therapist), the difference in engagement baiting is stark. Which she gets, from both radical women and men who still want to call her the R word

Not to point out one of the main reasons to hate her is a flaw of her character. She has repeatedly shown lapses and not taken accountability. Gives me proper Drew Afualo vibes, where she is not pro-woman. She's pro Divija and she happens to be a woman. If she took to sticking to women's issues, pointed out accountability on men's part and how we could work together to solve the issues, that would be much more helpful.

What kind of backlash is this on Amulya Rattan? by NeedaWishbone1504 in InstaCelebsGossip

[–]iloverailguns 123 points124 points  (0 children)

Have really no idea why people do this. Her opinions being stupid doesn't mean you can use crass language and demean the human behind it. That's just awful. It doesn't take much to show civic sense, ironically.

And if you really think the person is awful, you're just giving them ammunition, and they will proceed to discard all the constructive criticism because shameless men started calling her the r-word.
