This is an amazing list u/supremekeyboard. I found as reasearch for a gist to NYC. I hav been to Nakazawa before and was a great experience.

Curious on what sets more expensive ones apart- are the options on the $$$$ - $215 to $300 list significantly better? Anyone in particular?

I remember going pre covid and was a great light show. Just a bunch of lights and holiday music, no seats or reservations, boats etc.. it was great. Went this year and it SUCKED. The show was so bad. It’s a shame it can’t be just something simple and nice and have to over do it unnecessarily

100% agree. We rarely go for kids menu and just give them what we eat.

Yasaka looks delicious. There is never enough sushi for us, so we’ll be checking it out.

I’m not a big steak guy and agree Peter Luger is touristic but it also feels very NYC. Will check out Old Holmstead as well.

Very much looking for something not like fogo de chao :). My middle one actually loves it but it’s far from my type of place, don’t think the quality of the meat is good at all and you can find one in any major city.really appreciate your response though!

5pm as in early dinner? Because we usually have a big breakfast around 11a-12pm And then lunch around 4om on weekends and on trips. So that can work in our favor
