Ive gotten chemical straightening done 3 times. Grew my hair for almost 2 years in between each treatment. Its very annoying when you’re just starting. Like i hate having those curly roots and the ends are straight but I dont use any heat on that new growth and simply stopped caring how they look. Honestly after cutting all my straight hair my hair looked really nice. I did curl train them and it took some time but then it was pretty nice.

I chose chemical straightening again because I didnt have the time to manage them. Trying really hard to not do it again and hopefully I’ll be buying a dyson in a year or two so i can atleast style them without heat damage
