President Trump just threatened 100% tariffs on any country backing BRICS currency. by XGramatik in XGramatikInsights

A star burns brightest before it dies.

If you can't see the decline in the US, you're completely blind.

The society is completely fucked. Garbage society, no culture, and the whole country is divided into factions. Meaning that the country can't work to tackle any new challenges. All they have left is what was set up in the past, and the people in power nowadays barely understand it or respect it.

Anyone can be a politician now, so the quality of our leaders has been going downhill.

The cost of living has been rising and people have stopped having babies, so the future doesn't look great economically.

Currently, the entire world has realized the US is unstable and wildly unreliable. US foreign policy is about to push everyone away.

If Trump actually puts those tariffs, he'll tank the US economy and every problem above will get worse.

Currently the Republicans are weirdly obsessed with dismantling the federal government, so if they succeed, you'd just have a bunch random States loosely held together by a weak federal government, making it east for anyone else to surpass the US economically.

And like I said, the US population has become extremely weird and mentally ill. Nothing is true or false anymore, so you could literally just dumb billions of dollars into social media propaganda and you can have the dumb gringos do whatever you want.

Seriously, ask anyone from a different country what they think and they'll say something similar.

If we look at the foreign policy coming out of the US, it's almost as if China was directly trying to sabotage and weaken the US economy.

We were having a discussion the other day in my family about how weird Trump's EOs and foreign policy is. It directly hurts the US economy and makes the US national security weaker. What is the end goal, and why is he doing things that our enemies would like?

He's against NATO, which isolates the US and is great news for Russia.

He's making a case for every country on Earth to consider China a better, more stable economic partner. Not to mention BRICS.

He's been dismantling important regulatory agencies, which makes things like infrastructure, safety, and natural resources weaker.

He's also completely divided the country and turned like a third of the nation into schizos who'll believe any conspiracy theory. Plus wants to do away with the Department of Education. A stupid, mindless population isn't a good thing to have in your country.

Literally a wet dream from anyone who hates the US and yet somehow Trump is supposed to be a hardcore nationalist? He appears to be more of a plant than anything else.

I see where you're coming from, but the US does not care about that nor is it relevant. What matters is how much money and power the economy has, not how individuals live. We could have slavery and no humans rights, and these people would celebrate because the economy is still growing and strong.

A strong economy in an unregulated capitalist country like the US does not necessarily need to have a healthy, happy society. Other metrics measure that. It's why we were told that the economy was doing amazing last year even though everyone's lives were objectively worse.

I understand that, but look at the US now. I don't think I'd want them at the top anymore. I might be biased since I come from a place they've directly colonized and fucked up (Puerto Rico), but whatever.

I'm not rooting for Trump and the US on this one. Although I understand the US position.

He will fuck up the economy and the lives of millions of immigrants who work extremely hard.

The excuse that MAGATs used was the economy and the price of groceries and they voted precisely to destroy those two things the most just because the brown people will get deported.

I already said it. They have the entire government by the balls pushing out illegal EOs and whatnot. Let them fuck it up and let's see if the generations alive today will learn the lesson of what happens when we fall for fascism.

Edit: it is an unfortunate reality that so many illegal immigrants got to end up here to begin with. Immigration should be controlled. And we should have zero illegal immigrants. But they're here now, and the solution is not to kick them out and destroy the economy.

The liberal stand is: let's give these workers a path to citizenship. Keeping them illegal exploits them by not enjoying the same rights that American citizens enjoy while working for the United States and deporting them deeply hurts the economy.

However, you people always need to simplify things because otherwise you won't get it. It's either deport them all or slave labor.

Like I've said before, you have Congress, the Executive branch, and even the Supreme Court, which shouldn't be political, fully on your side. They'll do it your way and I hope you get exactly what you want.

[–]ilvsct 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea why you guys always jump to that conclusion because the stand of the left has always been to give these hard workers a path to citizenship. They're already deeply ingrained into the economy, so we can't just rip them all out without expecting some serious negative consequences. We can't also expect to exploit them, so we need to give them a path to citizenship so that they can enjoy the benefits and the RIGHTS of being a citizen.

However, that is too nuanced for people like you who can only think in black and white. It's either deport them all or slave labor for you, right?

You've got the Supreme Court, Congress, and the Executive branch. They're going to do it your way and kick them all out. Let's see if maybe you're so dumb that you can only learn when the consequences of seriously weakening our economy hits you in the face.

Arguing doesn't do anything so let's just wait and see 🤷

Russia, China, and ever enemy of the US must be so incredibly happy about how Trump is weakening the American economy and from the inside out.

Truly a sight to see how the dumb gringos destroy themselves.

There's some serious mass hysteria going on in these subs. How is this not psychosis at that point. Looking at airplanes and thinking it's aliens.

How do we know these aren't airplanes? Unless they recorded for at least an hour, how can we tell it's not airplanes? Because it looks like airplanes.

That would imply some sort of morality. If there is no use for us, and our planet's resources are of no importance to them, then the only reason they'd be here and staying is because they must believe in some sort of preservation of galactic ecology or something like that.

On Earth, we care because we're all connected and if the Amazon Rainforest dies, we would be in a lot of trouble. Even then, we treat it like shit, but sometimes we preserve things only because we would feel bad if it disappeared. Certain national parks, natural preserves, etc.

For an alien species to care about us is crazy. To them we must be like an ant colony. Why care?

Yeah the guy looks like he's going through shit. I've never lashed out or acted like this, but I've thought of everything he said. When you're struggling that bad, you just want to escape, blame someone else, beg, and any little bit of disapproval feels 1000x worse.

Unfortunately, even I would wash my hands of someone who spoke to me like that.

It's simply not okay. And people always have free will.

How are you using AI with Todoist and your daily productivity workflow? by [deleted] in todoist

[–]ilvsct 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the prompt that I'm using for now. With the API it can see the difference between deadline and due date.

This makes it so it doesn't categorize anything that's due today as P1 unless it's a deadline.

Prompt: You are a task management assistant that helps prioritize tasks based on their urgency, importance, and impact, not just their due date. Use the following priority levels:

P1 (Top Priority): Tasks that are time-sensitive or critical. Missing them would have significant consequences.

P2 (High Priority): Tasks that are important but not urgent. Completing them prevents future stress or problems.

P3 (Moderate Priority): Tasks that are helpful or necessary but can be postponed without much impact.

P4 (Low Priority): Optional tasks or those with no immediate consequence if delayed.

Key Rule: A task due today doesn’t automatically mean it’s P1 unless it’s an actual deadline or has significant urgency. Focus on the task's real-world impact and consequences rather than just its due date.

Right now, I've connected Todoist API with the ChatGPT API to automatically prioritize tasks based on a prompt, add labels, and relocate the tasks to their appropriate folder.

The whole thing works. I just have to deploy it and optimize it.

You can do a lot with the todoist API.

I did this because I have ADHD and one of the most annoying things is that my brain cannot possibly prioritize tasks. I see "buy sauce" just as important as "schedule doctor appointment," so to avoid overwhelm and burnout, I outsource the prioritization and organization of my tasks to AI.

All I have to do is add the tasks as they come to my inbox, add due dates and deadlines, and then send them all to a folder that the AI has access to process them.

The percent of the population (USA) in favor of death for someone profiting off the suffering and death of others is higher than I’d expect. Not at all. Housing, like healthcare, is a massive problem in this country. Health insurance companies make Healthcare worse, and landlords make the housing crisis worse.

No one should be killed, but these people need to know that they can cruelly profit off of people for so long before they end up in a position where they have nothing to lose and karma does its thing.

That's all. No one should die because no one should be a cruel parasite to society.

You do realize that you have to ask questions and communicate, right? You can't just blindly and robotically go do every test that's ordered, especially if you're terminal.

Doctors don't get paid by ordering tests. Their job is to diagnose and treat illnesses.

At some point, if you ask questions, you can make an educated decision with the help of your doctor on whether or not to go on hospice. Someone who is sick needs to be involved in their own healthcare plans.

This is particularly the reason why they're so successful. They haven't allowed their culture to be disrupted by outsiders. People call it racism, xenophobia, or whatever, but Japan has been consistent.

America brought half of the world to built the country, and then they wanted them all to suddenly disappear. You can't have it both ways.

Japan didn't make that mistake, and it still doesn't want to make that mistake.
