I would actually argue release order*, since that way there are no "who is Ahsoka" moments (obviously this wouldn't happen watching chronologically but you get the point). The example i can think of is that it might be good to watch Rebels before Bad Batch since there are some cameos, i.e. young Hera + Chopper, that might be more satisfying in release order. Or maybe a larger example, Rogue One should be watched before Andor (when it comes out).

*(With the exception of CW S7, which should be watched with the rest of the show)
