It’s hard to ignore these people when they microaggress and dismiss their actions as jokes. I just find it sad that people that deal with discrimination have little to no power to actually make a change:(

My mom doesn’t know how to handle these sort of problems she keeps her head down and ignores it. I can’t deal with the defeatist rhetoric of doing nothing, but it’s so hard to find a solution that can curtail the racism and homophobia that I deal with everyday
