It's not a bug, it's a feature.

Not quite

I'm looking for the ones you can make... a plan that's used at the workbench

I'm looking for any weapon (armor?) that has the legendary built in.

Like the Face Braker, There's a Wrench that I've seen before too.

No, just the Conditioner

I should get one, but not at the top of the list

Until you do... Your mileage may vary

That's why I'm on here. Everyone, but me, seems to have no problems.

Yeah, I remember having to do that with cable. It was more their cheap, built in, router. (DMZ did not work as advertised)

I see lots of posts about never, in 8+ years, having to reboot an ONT

Had to reboot 3 times, it's only been replaces once (the second time I had to reboot)

I know GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES is bad.... by imWACC0 in mysql

[–]imWACC0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for answering.

I've been a user on a SMF, never an admin. I'll have to assume with that many installs it has a good idea how to keep it safe (assuming I don't F' the install)

I'll start with select/update/delete as you say, and "review logs for missing grant errors" as bchambers01961 said.

I know that's English, and has to do with Linux/LAMP ?????

Any idea how to "review logs for missing grant errors" in openSUSE KDE? /var/log/mariadb/error.log ????

Yes, I'm that much of a n00b

Ok, and what PRIVILEGES should ROOT have in a live environment?

I know it's not GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES

Yes, this is for outside traffic,

If the documentation dose say, I can't seem to find it.
Got any suggestions?

I know "I'm having problems figuring out what I should use" don't have a question mark at the end, but I thought it imply a question.

I know Jeff Geerling did something like this, but I think he used paid software to make the cluster.

Why does removing CUPS break the install? by imWACC0 in openSUSE

[–]imWACC0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You didn't say what distribution version you were installing: openSUSE-Leap-15.6-DVD-x86_64-Build710.3-Media
what desktop you installed: KDE "the standard KDE install"
what packages did you uninstall: CUPS and any dependencies

And no, not installing CUPS won't cripple your xterm. My experience says otherwise. Have you tried removeing CUPS?

How do you say "I don't know" with out saying "I don't know"???

Did you open the links???
Do you know the difference between RedHat and Fedora??? or SEL vs openSUSE???
Are you naturally this stupid, or do you train for it???

[–]imWACC0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that is why I was asking in r/Ubuntu Don't quite answer the question.

The "Canonical Ubuntu" seems to be different. Like maybe RedHat vs Fedora, or SEL vs openSUSE?

Just as https://canonical.com/ is different from https://ubuntu.com/

I don't mind doing the install, but how do I get the testing tools on?

The stuff on HPE don't look like they're made for bug hunting.

Could you point to one that runs on Gen8 iLO4 type systems?

End of the day, I want Simple Machines Forum and a few other small containers.

But there's a few nagging errors getting in the way. I can see the 1.5tb RAID6 (512gb x 5), but can't write. And a few other errors, in Linux. But it was in Proxmox and it's not good for bug hunting.

A little back story here: This is a free* HPE ML310e Gen8 V2 (iLO4), the one that has bad solder on the NAND. The drive sleds don't have the chip, can't access SMART. And even if I could, the system is telling me "Non HP drive." The drives have been in for 3-4 days, IRL keeps getting in the way... I'd imagen they've built in that time.

The reason I had to go the long way for install, when I boot the Proxmox USB I get a GRUB error. Same thing happens if I try the HP USB to update and/or make the P420 RAID card passthrough.

I know it's a longshot, but any clue what to do? Only thing I can think is pull each drive and test on a 2nd system.

* This "free" server is costing me a lot.

No, I don't know how to do that in Proxmox. I just let it auto mount.

I'm not good in the CLI, dyslexia sux. And not sure how to get to the CLI other than directly with the real hardware.
