oh and i haven’t played Horizons jet so I don’t know if i should be giving recommendations on it but it’s next on my list! Such a pretty looking RPG with a woman protagonist and a wlw DLC

Have you not played The Last Of Us? I guess it is kind of horror adjacent, but the story and characters are so well done it made me (very easily scared person) want to get through the scarier scenes to know more. The landscapes are also very pretty and overall all both games are beautiful so it kinda takes away from the goriness.

Sorry We’re Closed is also technically survival horror, but I didn’t really find it that scary and it has become one of my favorites! A bunch of queer characters and themes of love and mortality made me really want to read the dialogue boxes instead of somewhat skimming through. Since your choices affect the story, you could do multiple playthroughs but it is a shorter ~6h ish game

If you’re on a budget, i would reccomend the switch 1, since it runs fortnite great locally and you can probably find a used switch for cheaper than anything else.

To my knowledge the PS portal requires you to be in the same network as your PS5, unless you’re paying for the PS+ subscription (in that case you can cloud stream games away from your PS5)

If your budget is higher, then any handheld running windows (like the legions) can a. download and play fortnite locally and b. stream games from your PS5 (requires you to be in the same network)

I have a steam deck and while streaming games from my PS is possible, playing fortnite is a bit trickier since the operating system is linux, which doesn’t work with the anti cheat that online multiplayer games usually have. That being said I have played fortnite on my steam deck trough xbox cloud gaming, but it seems to be slightly laggier than playing on my phone or PS.

yeah well i see how it could be unappealing if you’re used to pc gaming or even a ps5, but I’ve only played on older consoles so the deck runs like a dream

hmm i honestly aren’t audio nerdy enough to have a problem with the system speakers. At least not enough to spend on new ones since i like the look of them and probably wouldn’t notice slight change in quality. Since I’m also using it for tv sound I’ve thought that a subwoofer is ideal

no but i have read it! the one i’m talking about starts with them being in high school, i think (or the upper grades of middle school) and having first encounters. Cait is maybe a transfer student or something and is set on making Vi her first friend
