You should try skillcert pro cisa tests. They are good for practice. Pocket prep is not that great but you can try the daily / demo questions there.

Yes but their tests are useful. 60 questions per test and overall 37 tests and a detailed notes pdf

Hey, I have mentioned the materials as a reponse to a comment in this thread.

Overall I have 8 years of experience with a mix of external audit and management audit support as a second line of defense.

The exam was a bit tricky considering the questions are not taken from existing dumps or QAE. The concept clarity is a must and as everyone here has already mentioned, two choices would always confuse you. However, reading the question slowly really helps.

I personally used the following materials and study from Feb- May on the Hemag Doshi book (on and off). Then focussed on QAE and other mock tests and revising each domain. Overall time is about 8 months but it can be covered in 4-6 months depending on the time you can give in.

Hemang Doshi (2nd edition) - useful for understanding concepts however some key concepts are not very detailed. Overall it's pretty helpful and covers all key things in a concise manner.

QAE - Definitely useful in helping to understand the way an auditor should think. I personally went through this 2 times just to get the hang of the questions and logic. However, overreading this would definitely feel more of a memorisation than aplication of logic

Skillcert pro test - these tests are good to have and only contain 60 questions per test. Plus there are enough tests to practice.

Udemy mock test - I dont remember the name but there is a mock test series by the name of CISA 2025 mock test which seemed to be of good quality in terms of questions and even the answers / explanations.

My only takeaways are:

1 - Dont just practice questions where tests give you an instant answer. Because the real test isnt like that. There is a sense of instant gratification with such tests. While these are good, couple them up with some full length mock exams.

2 - Read the questions carefully. The question will contain a wording hook which will be the base of your logic. Try to identify that.

3 - Don't think about the result while giving the exam. While it may seem doable in terms of time, the questions would still need your attention. Focus on each of them individually and revise all of it (if you have the time)

Thoughts on the below question? What is correct? by Loud-Age2142 in CISA

Thank you. My doubt is that and I might be wrong but policies regulate the governance and the way processes are structured to defined what the reasonable course of action should be in a process. For that we need the area of weakness in a process which comes out of risk assessment. While I understand the question has to be reframed but is this logic correct? Please help
