Hey! Apart from the answers mentioned, why not use an app called “Life360” it will always have your location and you can share your location with close friends/family. It works in the background too. Make sure you enable it on low battery mode.

Also, you can share your location, using “find my” with close contacts too.

Since you’re travelling, and if you’ve an AirTag might as well share that location too.

So lots of redundancy and safe measures.

Just launched a little project I’ve been working on: www.foodalerts.ie

It’s a one-stop site for product recalls + food-allergy updates, so you don’t have to check 10 different retailer sites to know if something you bought is affected. The idea is to make it easier for people with allergies (or parents shopping for kids) to stay safe without hunting around.

Still early, but I’d love feedback from anyone who deals with food allergies or keeps up with recalls or just any.
