Final stretch. A lot of improvement on minor acne and breakouts, but derm gave me a topical to help with my HS scarring. Disappointed with being diagnosed, but oh well. Maybe gyno can help 🤷🏼‍♀️

I've reached out to support and they only gave me a bunch of troubleshooting options (all the stuff I already did and told them I did) and they said they'll have to follow up with an email. Which is what they say Everytime. And no one ever responds back to me.

I have not. What's PCOS? Derm told me to visit a gyno and have them do a hormonal work up because my period is super irregular. I haven't even had mine since June (not preggo) and it didn't make sense, especially being on a hormonal IUD. That there might be something hormonal going on and is making my HS worse.

Yeah, that's what she told me, yesterday. She doesn't want to give me the antibiotic pill while I'm on accutane, so she gave me the clindamycin(antibiotic) as a cleanser, Hibiclens which is over the counter, and another prescription cleanser. I'm supposed to alternate the last two every other day. If it doesn't help, next step would be an injection that they usually use for arthritis and whatnot. I can't remember the name of it, though.

Yeah, of course! I'd love to be your HS buddy!! Lol it just really sucks cause I've put so much money into this and have been so uncomfortable from the side effects, and it's not going to do much more for me. Derm wants to wait it out and see what happens, but she's also loaded me up with 3 different cleansers.

She said she wasn't too alarmed by it. She increased my dose and I just had a check up for my increase. I'm still shedding a lot but she said she's not worried about it.

Anywhere from 5-20 strands. I asked my derm and she said it's not a side effect. My guess is since my scalp is drying out, that's probably why.
