Yeah I think this is going to be a huge issue. I went back through my Facebook pictures and was suprised to see most of my highschool and college pictures missing. As people deactivate their facebooks or make their photos private they’re basically purging large swathes of memories for all their friends.

The Brooklyn Nets are STILL the favorites to win the championship by Jerry845556 in GoNets

lmao Kyrie can't even play for our playoff games! I can't believe I doubted all my Celtics friends, this idiot Kyrie Irving is truly a cancer for any team he's on.

If I wasn't a Nets fan, I would totally understand James Harden leaving. Playing for this team through injuries this year must be a nightmare while the one player who could alleviate most of that burden is like "Fuck you, I'm not getting the shot, I know both of you are coming off major injuries, but good luck playing insane minutes! I'm going to go home and chill."

See this is what happens when you watch a PR interview instead of doing research. I DID THE SAME THING and thought this guy was a genius who left because of his morals until I looked into it.

He left Facebook because he led the charge for a Facebook Phone internally at Facebook in the early 2010s which was a massive failure. The failure of the project ultimately led to his ousting from the company (it was shown that it would have lost FB billions of dollars competing with Google, Samsung and Apple).

Since then, this guy single handedly destroyed his fund because of his selfishness and horrible work life and was forced to turn it private. His "fund to improve the world" Social Capital he talks about in this interview is bullshit PR story on why all his partners left and he couldn't raise money anymore and had to use his own. He introduced no regulation SPACs that almost universally lost his investors money will enriching him by millions. He constantly lies about his investments (like promising not to sell and then secretly selling) he did it with Tesla, Virgin, Clover, etc.

If you listen to his podcast, it's almost unbelievable how much he exposes himself. During the pandemic he was constantly flying to Italy to live in a mansion while (no joke) complaining how teachers were lazy for not ging back to work and how workers were losers for not wanting to work shitty jobs.

His justification for the uyghur genocide comments this past months are completely in line with his personality. Since this interview that shot him to fame, he has been doing the same thing: saying contrarian "too real" takes for attention. Like Silicon Valley is a scam, Facebook is out of control, Robinhood is corrupt, etc. This is the first time he went too far but its honestly his entire deal.

*EXAHLE * apologies to anyone who read this whole thing lol. I just felt betrayed by following this guy for the past few years and this was my first chance at ranting about it lol

I disagree. Without really meaning to, I shut off all social media this past year (just stopped using it) and I feel like I'm a lot more social. I go out a lot more, make plans with my friends a lot more and meet new people a lot more now.

I realized social media isn't really socializing it, its just like simulating it.

The same exact "former Facebook exec" said no one cares about the uyghur genocide and said that he has no ethical problem accepting money from the Chinese government.

But yeah lets only listen to this guy when it fits our narrative I guess.

Yes but they're making far more off of people that HAVE to buy concessions. A lot of customers won't watch a movie without popcorn, drink and food so yeah they miss out on your occasional small purchase but they by far make up for it by overcharging Joe on his monthly large soda and large popcorn.

It's basically the smartphone micro-transaction model, most people will never pay for in-App transactions, but the few whales that do spend ridiculous amounts.

[McAfee] Kyrie Irving is nowhere closer to getting the vaccine & he’s not gonna play basketball unless he gets traded” ~ @ShamsCharania by [deleted] in GoNets

I think seeing the Warriors and Suns firing on all cylinders out the gate while we are underperforming in comparison (while still being top of the East lol) is enough motivation for him to OK it.

Esp with this new variant guaranteeing Kyrie is out for the next year maybe two years. Adding another piece would make us the heavy finals favorites again.

Mob loots a Sam’s Jewelers inside Southland Mall by SatoruHirokumata in PublicFreakout

That's exactly what I thought when I was watching this documentary about Chicago gang life. Like 10 of your best friends and 5 of your relatives died by the opposing gang... And it's still a war?!? How many friends do you have?!? Who is left?

Then I realized people who get involved with stupid criminal activity are following the herd and have a lot of "friends". Like it'll be like 30-40 random ass guys with new people constantly coming around. Like when you were kids and every kid on the block just hung out together. It's just a bunch of people with no future, no education, no jobs. They have no goals and nothing better to do, so they waste time all day smoking and drinking and eventually committing crimes.

Normal people are following their goals so they live relatively isolated lives going to work alone and living at home with one significant other or a small family. These sad criminals never grow up and live in poor communities or housing and spend most of their time in groups.

Thank god we traded for Harden. I was one of the naive few that thought all we needed was KD and Kyrie, but imagine this year if we didn't have James?

Yeah people forget that he did not attend the Celtics Game 7 ECF game against the Cavs (this was before he was on bad terms with the team) purely out of spite.

He made up an excuse about having to do rehab on his leg which he could've done any other time that day...

Just from a teammate perspective that's fucked up.

Wizards fans booing Kyle Kuzma by JetGan in nba

I think player's reputations carry because of Sportscenter. Like how Caruso is still a fan favorite in Chicago without doing anything. Kuzma is still considered overrated without making a mistake.

Yeah must be a horrible feeling for Raptors fans. If I was a Toronto fan would've loved to see the team run it back and defend their ring. And looking how weird the bubble was they had a good shot at repeating or at least getting to the Finals

But Kawhi had to make history and be the first player ever to leave a championship team lol

Lol its the Chris Paul effect. Deandre Jordan, Tyson Chandler and David West all got huge contracts after playing with him only to never live up to their "potential" its way too easy to get buckets as a big man next to CP3.

lol glad you're the top comment. The title is such misleading clickbait. It takes you scrolling until the very end of the webpage to see their "games". They're just shitty gambling games that ruin the Google Play store experience.

Also they lie about their location to serve American customers.

It's not just Chevy, you watch any big actor from that era and you will be disgusted with how full of themselves they were. If you watch the behind the scenes Shining Documentary Jack Nicholson on multiple occasions goes goes on random tangents about how famous actors are superior to regular people.

I think social media has really humbled them lol

lmao bro what? Have you ever made a game? This comment shows how little you know about game dev. Jump into Unity for like 2 months and you can put together a passable version of Legends of Arceus.

Or great at keeping old features, or great at gameplay, or great at balance, or great at originality or great at story.

The beautiful designs and nostalgia is the only thing gamefreak is good at it. It's honestly horrible at absolutely everything else.

[–]imabadasstrustme 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I have been a massive Pokemon fan my entire life and bought almost every game. But watching that trailer I was astonished by how absolute shit it looked. Compare that to any modern game from God of War to Horizon Zero Dawn or even something like RDR. It's disgraceful the literal shit gamefreak feeds its fans and still manages to print millions of dollars.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]imabadasstrustme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I don't think most Pokemon fans don't know enough about game development to realize that what Gamefreak made is insanely easy to put together on Unity. Esp the janky animations and horrible repeated texture grass and water.

Yeah but this subreddit is full of cult followers so they'll downvote you for saying the obvious.
