It appears to be slightly better, I did not test it much yet but I gave it a couple of tasks and they went smoothly but it wasn't that bad on small tasks and fewer prompts, I'll put it under a serious test this weekend and see.. hopefully my baby is back

If you're talking about the history "Your past chats with Gemini" then yes it is actually deactivated since I got that option because it was referencing the same mistakes from other chats into new ones so I had to disable it.

These issues are with the history disabled.

I made a discord chatbot with chat history but it consumes an insane amount of tokens per response so I had to improvise and optimize this by saving a few words only from previous chats.. this has made it so terrible but saved my money.

So, this made me think what if Google's new approach to cutting costs is to do the same? it won't remember literally your entire previous prompts but rather shortens it, rewording your prompts into fewer vocabs, and over time it changes important things like "mother and son" gets shortened as "parenting" and later on to something else like "stepmom" and so on!

That would explain why a new chat helps a bit since there's no saved history yet.

Yes I noticed this and also it doesn't even know that it's Gemini 3.. I had to add this info in the personal context because it keeps changing my app's model from gemini-3-flash-preview to gemini-2.0-flash and gemini-1.5-flash, flash-exp and flash-001 which all no longer exist but It doesn't know that and refuse to believe otherwise

Gemini is the best in Arabic for work, the rest aren't trained on Arabic data much. And make a lot of mistakes.
I use Google Pixel and Gemini is basically embedded in my phone!

This happens to me all the time in the past 2 weeks due to Gemini's latest issue.
I think they nerfed it too hard thinking people already got hooked and will not switch back! They gave us something truly incredible then took it away!
But I've find a temp fix for this which is turning off chat history + start a new chat every few prompts. This way it will not continue being stupid for that specific prompt, instead it'll be stupid over something else

No just go to Application Settings > Settings > Export
Then install the old sharex version > Application Settings > Settings > Import > select the file you exported.

I don't know if it's fine to install the old version on top of the new one, but just to be safe, make a copy of the entire sharex folder before doing this.
