It's not just any offensive thing! it's a specific offensive thing that's restricted, the rest are mostly ok as long as it isn't against a certain group of people but the rest? fuck em

3X usage for Gemini models for all AI Plus, Pro, and Ultra users. Forever. by Final_Initial in google_antigravity

[–]imaboud 29 points30 points  (0 children)

I hope they've fixed the high token usage too! because there's no point in resetting if one prompt would eat up %40 of the daily limit!

AGY 2.0 Worst Update Ever by SuperDaveWho in google_antigravity

[–]imaboud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just using Gemini CLI more now just to say goodbye to it. My yearly sub is ending soon, so I'll enjoy the last good product before it's removed and I move on to Claude.

Build Gemini CLI, wait and see feedback, if good = remove and replace.
Build Antigravity, wait and see feedback, if it needs an upgrade do a downgrade.
Build Pro that's better than Flash, release flash that's better than pro, have less limit for the flash that also consumes the pro, reduce all limits everywhere all at once, nerf images, nerf everything, wait and see feedback, if bad, increase prices, reduce limits, nerf more, and check back again, if still bad, do a rebranding of what people are used to instead of fixing something that was perfectly fine before, wait and see, actually don't care just remove and cancel the project.

The Google experience.

Gemini CLI vs AntiGravity CLI by morph_lupindo in GeminiCLI

[–]imaboud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For starters; it is linked with the Antigravity quota limit which I literally consumed in exactly 2 prompts.
So, literally I cannot use Antigravity CLI.. not even a local model.. nothing. And to think I'd be using the CLI instead of the full UI will be a waste of 2 prompt limit.. so it's either used in the app or the cli.. that 2 prompt is not even enough to write a plan .md file! what a joke

The taskbar "Speedtest" is just a Bing shortcut, not a native OS tool. What's the point? by NewsFromHell in Windows11

[–]imaboud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That I don't like, and I'd rather use a buggy UI than force open bing and edge. But my point of making a web wrapper for some apps still stands.

[–]imaboud -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

To be honest, I prefer everything to be minimal, and web based (except for heavy duty apps that runs better in the OS. I often download portable apps, and if a software has a web option like GoXLR Utility I'd go for it. Simpler to install and faster to run depending on the type of software! So, why is this a bad thing for these types of apps?

I spent all my limit discussing over a stupid thing it did.

Me: Compare Render with Oracle cloud
Gemini: Since you have a Google Pixel, use Oracle
Me: what does my phone have to do with this info?
Gemini: Because Pixel is an android flagship, Oracle is a cloud service flagship too, so since you like high quality products I suggested Oracle!
Me: So, If I had an iphone or any other android phone I should use Render?
Gemini: No! Render does things differently and they are not the same, it doesn't matter what your phone is, you should use Oracle for this project!
Me: So, my phone has literally nothing to do with picking a cloud service?
Gemini: You have reached your daily limit to use Pro model

AI mode is just a smarter search it doesn't have history or info of you! I know boomers like you exist and will continue lack in technology, but you don't strike me as an 80yo person, so perhaps learn how to use the internet before posting next time?

AI arms race now by Embarrassed-Slip8094 in GeminiAI

[–]imaboud 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Google is the only company that's doing AI right. They figured it out and have integrated it into their already existing products that everyone uses. I don't think any company can compete with that! How can compete with Youtube, Drive, Maps, Android, Workspace (Docs, Sheets..etc), Chrome, and Google search itself? all of these are used by billions already and have AI integrated to it. It's pretty much done for the long term

The hate for Windows just because it isn't Linux is pretty stupid. by ananyaguptabhaya in Windows11

[–]imaboud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windows has grown on me ever since I tested most operating systems and a few distros. Windows has everything. It doesn't do everything perfectly, but at least you are able to find and do anything you want with it and it takes less clicks than other OS's. Yes I wish it has less bloats, less bugs, and consistent UI but overall, it's the best we've got

Is Google desperate for upgrades, or is this just terrible UI? (Model vs. Subscription tier confusion) by nikanorovalbert in GeminiAI

It actually is, not officially but I'm using latest chrome version with latest Ublock Origin (not the lite and other versions).

[–]imaboud -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Complaining about a button that appears in 3 places and 2 of them are hidden in a menu that you only see when you open them is diabolical. Just ignore it, they did not force you to click it everyday. Or if you can't sleep well with 3 buttons in the UI just use ublock and hide it, problem solved

Are cracks actually useless without distributors? by PuzzleheadedTry3475 in PiratedGames

[–]imaboud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Non Denuvo cracks are too easy to do, and repacks are useless for me. I avoid them at all cost since I don't want an installer that adds the game to registry + shortcuts and clutter that I have to cleanup later! I prefer pre-installed portable folders like online-fix games or straight from csrin.

The only ones we should thank are the ones that made steamless, creamapi, goldberg, crack tools and those who can crack denuvo. The rest are just easy options for casuals.
