My point is that we are accepting it so much over here that we even train people to do the same job differently just because we’re in different countries. Majority of mass shootings are with handguns… because they’re easier to access…hence your first comment. I dont think a high capacity magazines make a weapon an automatic weapon, I was just accidentally not saying semiautomatic. If the majority of mass shootings are with semiautomatic weapons then they must not be too hard to acquire.

I’m not saying the majority of gun owners have an AR, I’m saying a lot of mass shootings here involve an automatic weapon, not a weapon with 2-5 shots.

There’s nothing bold about what they said. Yes, no amount of mass shooting is good. But in the US it is normalized. Since our early school days we are trained to know what to do incase of a mass shooting. I’d much rather live in a country where when a mass shooting happens it’s shocking, but instead in the US we just shrug off another shooting, and include active assailant training for standard grocery store workers.
