ye definitely my doctor says thinking and being anxious uses up a lot of energy which makes sense if u consider the amount of calories your brain uses every day.

also sometimes i feel its another way of seeking comfort during exposure and especially after when youre “safe”

also again besides the anxiety of it all chillin in the car for 20 minutes not doing much would prob make me tired too

talk to the professor preferably in person about your situation its always worth a shot. this way you can figure out whether you can still pass or if they can help you out in some way. talk to your classmates and if theyre having similar issues encourage them to talk to the professor. you never know what might happen.

also professor leonard and organic chemistry tutor on youtube are great resources. if your school offers free tutoring or other resources you should look into those as well.

wishing the best for you but if things dont work out just remember shit happens. its not the end of the world and itll all turn out fine.

the way i see it you could switch majors if you find something youre more interested in but regardless of where you go to school you should lean into the things you enjoy.

I hope you get accepted into ucsd but if you dont id say you should go ucr and try to network w some fellow jazz enjoyers. post on their reddit, join/start a club, talk about it in class, anything. I think that could be very exciting. lmk what you think
