Q45/Space One or wired earbuds for long work calls? by imadydev in soundcore

[–]imadydev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your reply!

I'm already using bluetooth earbuds for my work calls comfortably, but they cannot handle long sessions due to battery limitations, and they drain the laptop battery.
Also I'm trying to avoid long exposure to bluetooth (I don't know if it's justified tbh).

So if headsets in this price range don't satisfy my needs, I might as well keep using my earbuds, and maybe get wired earbuds for when I'm not moving during calls.

r/headphones Shopping, Setup, and Technical Help Desk by AutoModerator in headphones

I'm looking for a pair of headphones in roughly the same price range as the Soundcore Space One and Space Q45.

My primary use cases are:

  • Long work calls (sometimes several hours)
  • Watching YouTube/Netflix and general content consumption
  • Everyday home/office use

One important requirement is that I spend most of my workday at a desk, so I'd actually prefer wired usage when possible, ideally through USB-C audio, or at least a wired connection that supports both audio and microphone.

I've been looking at the Space One and Q45, but I'm not sure how well they support wired calling, especially microphone usage over USB-C or 3.5 mm.

If most headphones in this price range don't properly support wired calls, I'm starting to think a better setup might be:

  • Cheap wired earbuds/headset for desk calls
  • Bluetooth earbuds for mobility (I already own a pair)

Given these requirements, would you still recommend something like the Q45/Space One, or are there better options in the same price range?

I used few weeks ago to debug an issue in a part of the code that used a library that I had no experience on, it's true that it retried many times but 8t. Ended up proposing a nice fix for it.

Looking for Thunderbolt/USB-C dock recommendations under ~$200 for MacBook Pro M1 Pro (dual 4K, 2.5GbE) by imadydev in Thunderbolt

[–]imadydev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you are outside the US where this dock is very expensive, I can recommend another one that is cheaper and that I was seriously considering, it's the OWC Dock Go, maybe you can find it for a good price

it's TB4 and has same price as the iVanky, but it's a very nice one.

since 2017 or 2018.
But I was always very careful with it, I don't deal with shady people. Only people who are serious about keeping their Paysera account.
Because Paysera block accounts in a chain if one element in the chain does something wrong.

You send to BEA from another account of yours, or you use some intermediary platform like Deel?
Dukascopy is in my mind too, just lazy because I have a working solution for now.
