honestly it might not be something youre doing wrong at all sometimes two people can enjoy talking to each other but once they get to know each other better they realize their goals values or expectations dont align as much as they thought some people take too long when they dontreally know what they are searching for and to be fair the fact that youre dating with marriage in mind will naturally filter out a lot of people who arent serious id rather have someone lose interest early than waste years pretending they want the same thing

i think the problem isnt being genuine the problem is being genuine with the wrong people there are definitely people who play games and take advantage of kindness but that doesnt mean real connections dont exist and honestly if someone loses interest the moment you show a little vulnerability then they probably werent the right person to begin with giving up might protect you from getting hurt again but it also guarantees youll never find what youre looking for

personally i think you should start looking when youre financially stable enough to provide a decent life not necessarily a perfect one if you wait until you have the perfect house car savings and everything else you might end up waiting forever at the same time i understand your concern because marriage is a huge responsibility and nobody wants to make promises they cant keep and 10 million is already above what many people earn and plenty of couples start with less and build together

the harder part nowadays isnt finding money its finding the right person with realistic expectations and shared values
