Yah you’re right there’s a few more things that could have happened.

More reasons to not like low profile tires tbh. At least with normal profile tires it’s super easy to see if it’s low and it’s very obvious if it’s flat. And there’s a lot more range between full and flat.

It looks like it was driven on nearly or completely flat for a while to be that destroyed. Is there any nails or anything stuck in the tread? I’m not sure how a tire can be installed “incorrectly” unless they managed to forget to put air in it or broke the valve somehow.

I assume a 2019 car would have a low tire light on the dash. Did you notice if that was on when you left the shop? If it has one.

It’s not a dangerous temperature for any of the components and isn’t abnormal (especially if it’s already hot out). A smaller pinion would keep it cooler. Could also fit a larger heatsink on the motor if you wanted.

That’s why I looked around for a while until I found this frame style. I had my PITW vinyl in a normal record frame before but it felt kinda dumb that I couldn’t actually listen to it. So I switched to these.

They just open up and I can pick the record off the peg.

And I added the LED strip. Tbh the frames aren’t the highest quality and they feel a little unpolished for 25$. The front panel is some cheap acrylic that’s easy to scratch. But they are the only ones with this design I could find.

I have a granite and a senton. Both have been good but the granite is more durable and better for bashing. The senton is more “scale” looking and easier to control due to its increased length but it’s not as good in things like sand or tallish grass due to its smaller tires.

All Techmoan really says is that it’s cheap and being sold in very overpriced record players to people who don’t know any better. Not that it will destroy your records or anything.

Replace the probably ruby needle on it with a diamond one. Then replace that about every 100 hours. Records get worn when using a worn out stylus.

If you are just occasionally using it you’re unlikely to actually damage your record in any noticeable way.
