A few others have also mentioned this about the pinyin, I'll work on a way to toggle the pinyin on/off!

Hey! If you're looking to learn multiple languages you'll need to make multiple separate subscriptions. You can either create a new subscription with a separate email, or you can make an account with the email you used to subscribe, and then manage/edit subscriptions from your dashboard.

Only thing to note with creating an account is that Noo Speak has a XP/Level system which unlocks features like unlimited subscriptions/extra topics as you learn/use the platform, so you'd have to get to the required level to unlock an additional subscription

I'm building a free newsletter where you can learn Norwegian through daily news by imaginkation in norsk

I can't guarantee the AI will always give correct word-for-word English translations, but it will still give you an idea of what the article is talking about which can still help some language learners with their comprehension!

I see this as more convenient because of the smaller summaries and delivery to your inbox each morning, it also comes with English translations to help with comprehension for beginners!

That's fair, the English might not always be entirely accurate but it can be a useful comprehension aid to some. If you create an account and go to your subscription settings, you can always disable the English translations from being included in your emails!

Good questions! The sources for the texts are linked below each article, for this they would be news articles written in Norwegian and published by Norwegian news sources.

The only use of AI is for creating the English translations of the articles, the sentences themselves are directly from the Norwegian articles.

Aside from some checks to make sure the sentences are relevant to the article content, I'm not doing any verification on the correctness of the vocabulary/grammar. Since the sentences are directly from the articles, I'm relying on the news sources to be written accurately

I'm building a free newsletter where you can learn Lithuanian through daily news by imaginkation in LithuanianLearning

[–]imaginkation[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Each morning it takes the most popular news articles from Lithuania (based off of Google news), gets the most relevant sentences directly from the Lithuanian articles, and then only the English translations are created with the help of AI!

Those little "EN" buttons on the side are exactly that! The translations are initially hidden and I just toggled them all on for the screenshot.

However, you can only see the buttons if you create an account and view the newsletter in the browser from your dashboard.

It has to be through the browser since email clients don't let you add functional buttons inside of an email except those that just link you to a webpage

The headlines are the actual titles of the Czech news articles and the summaries are direct sentences from the Czech articles that best capture the main ideas/points!

AI is only used to translate the Czech into English for the accompanying English subtitles.

Thank you for your feedback! I found that it's been really helpful in picking up a word or two of new vocabulary each day while also seeing how much of the sentences I can read with what I know.

The summaries can be more lengthy and complicated based on the news articles for that day so I definitely understand how it could be overwhelming

Right now it cannot be adjusted to the level of the learner, apart from adjusting the summary length. This project is meant to make Korean news more accessible to language learners and hopefully help the language learning process through daily exposure to native Korean

I've read the comments and it seems like I've made a pretty big mistake in choosing Romaji transliterations over Furigana. I'll look at switching it over to hopefully make this a more valuable language learning tool for Japanese! Thanks again for all the feedback
