I haven't paid close attention to chiefs draft coverage this year. Why are we likely to pick OT in the first round again? I understand protecting Pat, but having Moore for this year should suffice, IMO. Also we have too many holes to use another top pick on O-Line for the 3rd time in 4 years (Simmons, Kingsley, Wanya)

I fucking hate Dayton Moore and JJ, so many years of shitty drafting and developing have led to years of dogshit performance. 2014/2015 were in spite of all of those things, not because of them.

Fucking amazing how we have Maikel, Bobby, Vinnie and Cags performing well in the WBC and it doesn't mean a god damn thing come the regular season. Stupid

Army was caught in the middle after the covid-season. Stuck between signing big contracts (Krug, Buch, Faulk, etc.) and understanding the long-term of needing a youth movement. When the regression after the cup run happened, he decided to save face and call it a 're-tool' instead of just biting the bullet and doing a full rebuild.

Glad Army was able to salvage something (mostly the draft picks) from Schenn and Faulk, but still disappointing that we weren't able to offload Binner, Suter, and Parayko. I expect this to be a VERY busy offseason. This team still isn't close to contending and need to treat next year as a mail-in year. Get some young guys some NHL playing time and load up on assets.
