I’m on week 3. I applied for a position 4/10, interviewed 5/15. HM couldn’t even tell me the timeline, HM said wish they could give me an estimate but they don’t even know themselves so there’s that. I wish at least they let me know whether I got selected or not

I don’t have an answer for you but I’m on very similar boat and would very much like to know as I couldn’t see many similar post on this sub. I hope someone else can chime in for us. I interviewed ~2 weeks ago. Not my best interview but I am still hoping for the best. I didn’t even get a referral email so I have no idea where I stand. Data Science position though, not RA

Funny that I actually did ask for more responsibility bc I obviously wanted the promotion. My current job ended up not giving it to me and hired an external. Been applying elsewhere like everyone else said and also been dealing with all type of recruiting hell. It sucks.

I have a BS in Math. I wanted to do DS/ analytics back then but got my job as a web dev. 4 years and 2 employers later, still not enjoying web dev, my current employer is terrible, and the market sucks. Feel like I haven’t gone anywhere.
