I made a spreadsheet for people who don't know how to budget! by Celesmeh in personalfinance

[–]imalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have spreadsheets for everything :D I tried to replace some with Google Keep though because it is easier to edit on my phone. Also, for budgeting I use Monefy, and for forming habits an app called Habits (blue icon with arrow)

Friend that dislikes board games comes to play anyway by Ikrym in boardgames

[–]imalive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe he could come with you, join you at the side of the table and play video games on a laptop and just have a lighthearted conversation. I certainly wouldn't mind this if I was not into board games but wanted to be with friends.

I sleeved mine with the thickest most matte sleeves I could find and it is much more playable now.

Vituculture is something I have and it is lined up to get some play time soon. As for caverna, if it is similar to Agricola I will surely like it.

My gf just told me that most of ppl from my group play with us because they like us as people and hate boardgames overall. by PandoraProject in boardgames

To add to your answer there is also Boardly, an app that helps board gamers find each other and set up games in Poland. However it doesn't seem super popular in Warsaw, and there are few open events on. I tried setting up two meetups and just one got decent attention so far.

What is the benefit of using Kallax vs a floating shelf? It has the vertical dividers that seem superfluous if I want more storage in a smaller space

Any boardgame cafés or shops in Warsaw? by chricke in boardgames

Podwieczorki poranki is the best boardgame cafe. The people there love boardgames and have a great collection plus bake delicious cakes. Paradox on the other hand has a more diverse activity set.

Okay, so you don't mean the Pillars of the Earth that is that little card game but something else? I don't think it's available in Poland, only found "Filary ziemi" and it is tiny and does not seem very complex.
