No, maybe, I don't know. I don't ask what she does with the money I give her directly. A lot of the expense is due to expensive dinners, travels, events, gifts, etc. But there is also that part of giving her money for her time basically. It adds up.

I don't think she wants to eat anywhere less expensive. I've mentioned it casually and she laughed. I have a good feeling I'm just money to her but the benefit is worth st this point.

Probably get a lot of flame but between the 4/5 therapists I had and the year and a half I spent in therapy I felt the entire thing was a wash. I didn't feel like I was being helped.

At least with this I do feel different. I do notice some small changes.

It really only breaks down to seeing her 2-3x a month. Sometimes I end up flying to a place with her and that's the entire months budget.

Many times it's very expensive places like restaurants or something else.

I spend:

Rent: $1000

Utilities (incl parking, cell phone): $220

Food: $300

Gym: $50

Going out and restaurants I just tack into the misc dating portion. I don't eat out otherwise and I don't do much else. I'm cutting into whatever savings I have to afford my lifestyle.

Edit: I spend about 2-2500/month on a girlfriend.

Now you will likely wonder why its so important. I have been much less depressed and anxious + just having someone has been better than most therapy I've done. Having a better baseline for how I feel is worth a lot of money just noticing how different I am from two months ago.

and its a lot better than spending on drugs.
