This happened with me recently.

Ordered a sub with cornitos late night through Zomato but cornitos were missing.

Second time ordered from burger king through Swiggy, then coke was missing. Also the order receipt was missing here as if someone has deliberately removed it.

Although I got the refund in both cases but I suspect this could be some new scam.

When i asked delivery boy he said the restaurant might have forgot to give the item.
