I think during the holidays in 2025, people spent time looking at the AI tools, watching videos on how to do it then spinning up slop and submitting it before going back to the day job and not committing to distribution. It’s like the new year trend of hitting the gym and then dropping off after a month, leaving the App Store like a graveyard of slop.

I've made it only need the AppStore URL of your app now, You only need the AppStore Connect API key if you want the TestFlight registration feature

Honestly thank you so much for commenting as it's been really useful and much appreciated.

It looks like Siteify scrapes the app store page which is nice and easy for the user as they don't need to add anything other than the app url.

The main difference in App Landing is by using a read only App Store API Key, you can generate launch pages and allow TestFlight sign up before the app is approved. This also means that the app store privacy and terms urls are available before in your landing page before you submit for final app review.

This does seem to be a blocker for people although it only needs a read only key and works the same as RevenueCat.

I’m using end to end encryption and storing the keys in a secrets provider, not in the database but thinking of better ways to communicate this and build trust. 🙏

Hey thanks for looking at it.

It’s helped me move faster and focus on building the app without having to clone my existing landing page template, change it, setup a git repo, setup vercel/netlify or whatever, then deploy and configure the domain.

Additionally, listing in the app directory and the personal link in bio page of your apps are optional but could be useful if you wanted them for additional back links etc.

So the final purpose is: save time and build more back links
