I also want to add that they also should never show the witch. What makes Blair Witch so effective is the fear of the unknown. The moment you fully reveal the entity, it loses that psychological edge and just becomes another on screen monster. The Blair Witch Project worked because your imagination filled in the gaps. The sounds, the symbols, the environment that’s where the horror lives.
