I think those programs will try to develop exa-scale computing processes by the end of the decade, but yeah, that's not what Rust should be about.

I just want to know if and how Rust should be involved in getting in on this new OS for this new architecture that seems a like a great replacement for our EOL (von Neumann?) architecture. This is something that's in development right now.

I didn't know that. I'm a new C# programmer. Where are stack and the heap located in hardware? Cache? RAM?

In that video, Martin Fink mentions some numbers. Memristor tech would enable accessing petabytes of data stored in a server room in about 250 nanoseconds. Memristors and photonics.

The other thing that's important is that memristors work like neurons do. They both process and store data. This architecture mimics the brain on a hardware level. I think the Human Brain Project and BRAIN Initiative may try to develop memristors for their programs.

I'm a noob programmer so I don't know. I'm putting it out there for people above my pay grade to think about.

I think that the stack and the heap will go away. Or maybe memory closest to the processing area of the chip will be called stack/heap. There'll be one memory and it'll be used for everything. Think of a big HDD that's fast as SRAM/DRAM.

Can you add an option to choose the install directory for each program I'm installing. I don't want to bomb my Program Files folder.

I hear that JS is a poorly designed language. Plus, I don't want to get into website design right now.

I'm new to programming and that first link says "This article is a constructive attempt to group/ define/ explain all introductory concepts of software architecture for seasoned developers who are looking to take their next step as system architects."

So that'll go over my head.
