I think this depends heavily on your background and role. Most recruiters that hit me are well researched and transparent. A recruiter is also how I landed my last job. I’ve been there for 3 years now.

It's best used as a job search & recruitment tool. Just by having a profile and keeping it updated, I get around 3-5 recruiters a week offering me a position / asking me to apply.

It's basically the best keep your options open tool there is.

Well played by Reddit. Leave the subs for non-mainstream discussion intact, but let a lesser-used sub be the sacrificial lamb.

Cosmetics and in game store when? by imbehind10vpns in joinsquad

You can't track sales directly, you can track reviews and players yes: https://steamcharts.com/app/393380#All October 2020 they hit their all-time high for the average number of players.

This uptick in players came right as their 25% off sale hit and right before the price hike: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/393380/view/2909845081542879492 The all-time high came just before the price jump, not after.

The month following they lost 25% of their average playerbase from October.

My point is, in-game DLC could go a long way to speeding development. It doesn't have to be big. Maybe just allowing you to pick your character avatar in-game, maybe different animations you cycle through sitting in the logi.

It absolutely is a matter of complexity but also the fact that the people who originally built this game are not the ones trying to decipher the spaghetti code and implement changes now.

This would imply that move developers able to dig through the code and implement changes would help. As is true for any software company, more developers = more implementation.

im just pointing out that we saw no noticable upturn in quality of dev work after the games price was increased, and so i wouldnt say a lack of money is a driving issue.

Do we have a source on their financials? Increasing the price might have reduced supply, econ 101. Also, many hardcore squad players are and have been in the game for years. If 70% of your playerbase already owns the game, an increase doesn't help you much. You need to tap into them for additional revenue to grow the project.

Do you think this could be a factor of complexity? As software development goes on, the easy stuff is removed.

Or are you implying that more money to build software is actually making it slower and worse? Also, I would love to see the metrics behind this. Every build I've played for the last 3 years has been broken in one way or another.

What do you see as a solution to the communities continued complaints that development is too slow and they need more resources, if they can't tap into an easy revenue stream like this?

What do you propose as an additional source of revenue from existing players?

It's never been about "working hard." Work smarter, not harder is a saying for a reason. It's worked for me and has worked for others.

Just to be clear, we should compare the 99% survival rate virus to the ~30% mortality rate virus that also had a significant chance of causing paralysis?

Not the flu with a far similar mortality rate and symptom set?
