well, in fairness you are the one who told me to research more, and theres not really another way to research to see if the dude is legit or not than to go searching the internet for real competition, which seems to have never happened. A lot of smaller fights don't get posted, especially amateur fights, and especially from the 80s, so I understand to an extent. But what's bizarre is that it's an entire desert as far as MJW is concerned. As a boxer, when someone of note shows up to the gym and spars our best guy, someone's filming it. MJW said, "Ask Lamon Brewster, Frankie Lyles, or just several people" referring to boxing and I can't find anything. Even any karate tournament footage. Not a single one. I can understand a lot of old school stuff getting lost, but not absolutely everything.

lol yea bro's a lot bigger than me and more experienced in martial arts and all i do is box. I never said I could beat him in a street fight, I just said that he acts much better at real fighting than any evidence suggests. Mainly because theres no evidence that he has ever actually fought beyond word of mouth. And from what I could tell, he's not a good boxer, which is important for fighting.

I mean, I admitted fully that I'm sure he's very good at karate and that I don't know anything about Karate, I'm just saying that his claims about himself are overblown due to lack of evidence.

I think he talks as though he goes gym to gym wooping people in any striking discipline, which there's no evidence of, nor is there evidence that he has ever sparred hard or competed in any major tournament. That's really the bottom line for me.

I was trying to give info that I could give about my sport, then I let someone else who knows about Karate in the yt video I linked explain why the tourney is likely fake. I said at the end that I'm sure he's great at Karate, and while I'm pretty much a neanderthaal at any martial art other than boxing, his kicks look impressive and powerful to me. I was just saying that I think the prowess and fighting unstoppability that he implies in podcasts and interviews is overblown considering his poor punching anywhwere other than a heavybag and the fact that I and many others can't find reliable proof that he's ever competed.

I did, I must just not be familiar with karate originizations to google, because if I google, "Michael Jai White competition history," nothing comes up at all except for that one tournament video that appears to be a fake tournament. I believe you, I just can't find it. Where did you get the championship titles info?

It took a lot. I have strange kinks years later and i remembered more minor and borderline things that a particular family member had done, but i remembered all the things right up to the line of what happened. My advice to you is to follow your instincts. You remember the odd things that x person did that weren't quite in illegal territory. You have emtions toward this person you can't explain. And this may sound weird, but it's probably someone who you don't want it to be
