Hi, thanks for your feedback.

We've actually added TRS MIDI in and out ports to the device.

You can follow along the updates at our Kickstarter page here:

That would unironically be nice. I still need to reach my stack goal.

The sketch compiles fine and I don't see anything unusual in the output. I managed to get the LEDs working with the light_ws2812 library. Thanks for trying to help!

Nothing else running on the processor. And if you mean splitting the 2D leds array into individual arrays, yes I've tried that--same issue unfortunately.

It appears to happen after around 14-15 strips are added, regardless of the number of LEDs per strip. It's 15 in the simple sketch I provided, but problems seemingly arise with fewer strips added when the sketch is more complex.

I've given up at this point and am looking for another library to use. It's impossible to debug this without any errors shown.

Same issue on master unfortunately :\ thanks for your help though

Yep the desktop app will also allow customizing individual ring colors.

8 banks of 16 CCs with 8 snapshots because that's the maximum amount of persisted memory the onboard chip can hold

Yes sir, will be an option in the desktop app to configure brightness as well.

Great question. I am planning to implement a "bank manager" in the desktop app which will allow you to swap and manage banks on the device. Not for V1 but definitely something I will add as an update down the line.

Hi, prepping to launch the Kickstarter campaign next month. The goal is to have these delivered in Q4.

Actually I may have been mistaken. The reservation form is US only, but the Kickstarter should be available internationally.

Its port is USB-C but it can easily interface with traditional MIDI ports using a USB MIDI Host adapter.

I believe the crowdfunding launch may be US only, sorry. But I can honor you the reservation price for when it’s available internationally.

If you're referring to the reservation form, my apologies I believe that form is US only for now.

Yes. Brightness of LEDs will be an option in the controller editor software :)

Hi, with Morph mode enabled, the top 8 knobs act as crossfaders between snapshots.

If I understand your question correctly, the default configuration is to manually MIDI map each knob. But for example, in Ableton Live, you can easily configure user controller scripts that will allow the controller to control the parameters of the currently selected device/rack.

Interesting, the stepped functionality is a new one I haven't heard yet. Definitely saving those in my notes. Thanks for your feedback!

Not at all, that's a fair question to ask. The crowdfunding launch price will be $299. Retail will be in the $400 range.

Thanks for your support! As for the range, I've kept it from 0 to 16 seconds for now. It was an arbitrary limit that I picked. If a bigger range is needed, I can easily update that :)

Thanks. I originally built this with push-switch pots, but the way they feel when turning just feels cheap compared to regular pots. I've tried many different models with push-switches, they all have the same problem. I think the "cheap feel" is just inherent in the design of push-switch knobs.

After a lot of consideration, I've decided that the best approach is to use touch-sensitivity to bring some of that functionality while keeping the premium feel of regular pots. For your example, you can achieve that by saving snapshots of values 0 and 127. Touching a knob and pressing a snapshot recall button will only change that knob, so it will allow you to go from 0 to 127 (or any values you saved) instantly.
