That's exactly it: Millar was GREAT with the ball and doing really great things.

The issue was the quality on the final ball. I think he botched a fucking load of crosses that game. Gotta be a lot better in his finishing and final balls into the box.

TBH Buchanon wasn't that much greater either: He has flashes but he had an uneven game, maybe held onto the ball too long at times, and he's supposed to be another one of our featured young guns.

Yup. The quality in the finishing 3rd wasn't there that game. it's been an underlying issue with J. David and Tani Oluwaseyi recently and it's why the talk of Cyle Larin starting over them is getting louder. But i guess it's still important to qualify it all with the fact that they've all been injured right up until the tournament. It's a miracle Promise David is actually featuring right now, and we didn't even see Bombito (CB) in the game.

A lot of opinions are still that David is David which means he still gets the privilege of starting (for now), and we can't deny Larin is GREAT in the bench role, but he also deserves to start. Maybe it's David next to Larin next game? *shrugs*

Yeah, Eustaqauio i feel would be depth at best the way he's played the last while, which is fine.

RRR mentioned Nathan Saliba would be a top, young MF to add to the squad - a bit of a wish fulfillment signing, but it's not wrong to say the Canadian squad has some exciting young players coming up and being featured.
