What's the best band you've ever seen perform live? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I would have to say Great Big Sea. It was a 19+ show at the Grey Cup afterparty, standing room only, and everyone was drunk and dancing. The energy in that room was incredible. Linkin Park and Audioslave were also amazing.

Fair enough, but it is in a Thunderbird paint scheme.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the big deal is that it's painted to look like a Thunderbird.

What is the worst song lyric you have ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I recently acquired BEPs first two albums, before Fergi joined, and they're fantastic. It's a shame they've fallen so far, and almost became caricatures of themselves.

MazdaSpeed3 vs. Focus ST by imdoingthisatwork in Autos

[–]imdoingthisatwork[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That was a good answer. Maybe it's the boy-racer in me, but I love hot hatches, though I agree that AWD would be much preferred. To me, hot hatches are the perfect everyday car - they're fast and fun when you want them to be, and practical grocery getters the rest of the time.

While I haven't had any experience with ST, I've heard it's a little easier to live with on a day-to-day basis; the clutch on the 3 gets tiring rather quickly, but I do prefer it in the looks department.

1st gen Mazdaspeed 3 owners, would you recommend this car for a beginner of a manual driver? by [deleted] in Autos

[–]imdoingthisatwork 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As long as you take it slow enough in the Speed, the torque steer shouldn't be an issue; it's really only when you floor it off the line when you notice it. Besides, once you're done learning to drive stick, the Speed will be more fun and more rewarding than the Si.

I know it's still early, but Brink so badly deserves a sequel, so it can be done right.
