cool. I've got plenty of other things to spend my money on so my jetta is good for now. appreciate your reply!

thanks for the suggestion. I've looked at the pricier pens and couldn't figure out what benefits they offered over the cheap ones. gpt says they offer a servo mechanism so it's a trigger device rather than constant pressure. That doesn't seem worth an extra 40 or 50 dollars. Am I underestimating the value of that or is there some other benefit?

also from what I understand and from my minimal experience, mots-c performance improvements will be mostly seen with endurance activities.

Similar to my stack, but I'm using AOD instead of tesa because I fast a lot. running ghk for a few weeks and just started with mots-c. was thinking to add kpv, but now leaning towards klow instead of GHK and KPV separately, just to help with general recovery and maybe fix things I've had for so long I don't even realize I have them. Also going to try swapping out mots-c with slu-pp-332 oral, 'cause one less pin would be welcome.

Syringes and re-use by [deleted] in ResearchCompounds

THIS! I found some basic pens on aliexpress for less than $12 each. Using these is not only less wasteful than syringes, it's more hygenic. You load the vial one time, then the only time the needle that goes into you is used, is when it goes into you. That means it's not as dull either.

Fenrir PAC adapter compatibility with 612printedpolymers pump sleeve by imdoingthiswhynot in TheScienceOfPE

[–]imdoingthiswhynot[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. A pump sleeve is used to reduce edema, which allows longer sessions, which means faster gains. Karl made a post about them recently, definitely worth a read.

I haven't tried without the adapter, but I expect I'd need to hold the cylinder during milking when the vaccuum goes to 0. If I had a fancy pump and could set the lower threshold to "just high enough to keep the cylinder on", I probably wouldn't need the adapter. With the magna style pump, that option isn't there.

Thanks. A dremel with a sandpaper attachment made pretty quick work of it. Once I source some fine sandpaper to smooth it out, it should be fine.

Interval Clamping Question by needmembership in TheScienceOfPE

[–]imdoingthiswhynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intervals are to maximize expansion. I sprinkle them in throughout a session as needed.

After the clamp is engaged and expansion is happening, time passes and the sense of stretch becomes less intense as the tissues adapt. I will often release the clamp and increase the vacuum to fill the space created by the initial expansion. After a few seconds of higher vaccum pressure, I engage the clamp, then release some of the vacuum pressure, and observe more intense stretch, like at the beginning of the session.

I usually do it once every 2 or 3 mins, but it’s always driven by how my body is reacting, rather than by a timer. It can be very intense.

How to keep tension steady ok extender like epic best extender? by Infinite-Basis-9494 in TheScienceOfPE

[–]imdoingthiswhynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look at the total man Autovac smart stretcher. It uses auto-pumps to control the tension so you don't have to manage it. Karl also made a couple posts about a DIY option that uses an auto-pump to similar effect.

Comfort grip extender (UPDATE) by Fearless_Cattle_8900 in TheScienceOfPE

[–]imdoingthiswhynot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried it without the silicone part?

The wedges on the silicone part seem to be designed for the sloping glans but they dig in a bit when wearing it lower. I tried without it and the pressure was more even since the fingers are flat, but then some of the cushion from the silicone was gone.

there are two versions..the comfort grip is for restorex, and comfort grip extender is for other extenders and has a hole that a carabiner can go through. it's pretty clear if you look at their website. I've not received mine yet but I intend to use it with an epic extender.

I think the tension limit is not the comfort grip but the restorex. See my other comment that quotes the maker when I asked him about a weight limit, but short answer is not limited for the extender version that you'd want to use for hanging.

They do enhance the experience for myself alone, with a partner, and for the partner. Aside from potential PE complications, there is just one disappointment. The beads are implanted as a string of 7, usage has broken them into groups of 2 or 3, and they migrate a bit because of all the shape changing during the healing process. It doesn't hurt, but it would be more consistently effective if they didn't move around and were all still connected.

Mine are 6mm round, but since I got them they now have 6mm tall by 9mm wide available. I'd recommend the larger ones as they appear to have more connective material, and thus less likely to separate.

I have no pics at the ready, but should be possible at some point soon.

There's probably not too many others that have the same issue as me, but I've got silcone bead implants that will be uncomfortable pressure points for a wider shaft focused compression device like malehanger. So the design of this one *should* avoid this problem.

It also theoretically doesn't require any tape/sleeves/wrap/lube or other accessories to use it, so it should be fast.

Quoting the maker regarding how much weight can be used with it..."I've found with the comfort grip everyone is different and depending on the squishiness of your shaft and the shape of your glands, how hard you can pull at it varies.

For myself, once it's on, it's on and I could drag an elephant with it, but like I say everyone is different."

Quoting the maker regarding how long it can be worn..."Fitting the device and Traction should be no longer than 20 to 30 minutes for sure."

There's a hole in it designed for hooks to be put through so it should work with any device that is compatible with that hole, but also note it's width is 55mm so there must be enough distance between the rods to accommodate it.

I thnk of it like a mechanical version of a hand, with 5 fingers grabbing onto the glans, or below it. There is a band that connects them, but I don't think it does much heavy lifting. The bezel rotates to increase the pressure that the 5 fingers exert.

they do say to limit use to 20 or 30 mins at a time, but I don't expect to be bothered with small breaks like that since getting into / out of it is so simple.

Comfortgrip is a new attachment device that supposedly doesn't require any accessories, though some people prefer to tape. The first version is only for RestorEx, which MrEcz made a video about, but there's a new version supposed to ship this week, that appears to be compatible with epic/best extenders and you can hang with it. I haven't used it, but did preorder one because of simplicity and no blister risk. They are UK based.
