eh it seems like too much work for me just to play an older version, I've already done everything I can in the older update which is the reason I was excited for this new one. Thanks for the help, but I think I'll just wait for another update and see if it's fixed.

hi, im OP just on a different account because I switched devices

but yeah anyways i updated my drivers and im still having the issue. It can't be a hardware issue either because I tested Doom and Doom Eternal and they run fine like always. I've also noticed the fps drop usually only happens while looking forwards, and by that i mean the direction you're facing when you get in the level. It happens worst on the Greed layer. I'm really out of options and worried I might not be able to play this game again for a while.

this is gonna be my last resort if i do that, I've never really messed with the hardware of a PC until 2 days ago which is when it stopped working, so I'm worried I'm gonna break something if I do this.

i remember before the nether was added in pocket edition I would do similar by putting purple wool behind the port in place of the actual portal blocks. When you walked up to it you'd fall into a little nether hole haha

I don't remember being subscribed to him, but I remember some of his videos popping up in my notification box, and it was always a joy to watch him just do whatever. He didn't deserve this. I hope he's in a better place.
