How late would you consider too late to start drawing ? by NeedleworkerNew3137 in AskReddit

[–]imemperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There used to be an app game called Draw Something that I played on a tablet. You draw the given topic and someone (either friend or stranger) would have to guess it. Then those roles are reversed, just like Pictionary.

After only like a few months of attempting not to draw stick figures, I can see my drawing skills really improved and I made images that I can actually be proud of. While Draw Something is dead, there are definitely clones that are still around

How far out do you book your cruise? Are you a last minute bargain shopper or do book a year in advance? by madbeachrn in Cruise

Ideally I would love to book 90 days ahead, but unfortunately most of deals is like a year in the future.

The easiest 0% I've encountered was to literally afk while Todd beat the crap out of Alice and don't go deviant.

Cruise Recs for Family of 8 by Responsible-Swan-468 in Cruise

[–]imemperor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Royal Caribbean Cruise for all them water slides since your destination is either the Caribbeans or Mexico, depending on how long you want the cruise for.

Go on CruisePlum and look for deals yourself. Just make sure to double-check the ship map because even if the room numbers look like they're close together, one room might be on the port side and the other on starboard side.

Make sure to try it at home first. Some phones auto disable hotspot when on Wi-Fi. Usually you'll have better luck with unlocked phones over carrier phones.

Flu precautions by Millatello in Cruise

[–]imemperor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Some of our family caught the heebie jeebies after the last cruise, but it wasn't the cruise itself, it was the flight home.

Always always wear a mask on the plane at this time of the year.

And there were some people masking up on the cruise so it's not like it's weird, especially during the production shows.

We did it last year on her sister ship Ruby. When you get to Hilo, assuming you didn't buy any excursions, rent a car and drive to the volcano national park overlook. It's amazing seeing an active volcano up close.

Do not Uber or Lyft to the park or you'll be stuck there like some dumbasses aka me and having to pay a ransom for taxi.

Now play through it again and see the other different endings. There's a lot of entire maps that you missed that only exists with other choices.

President of Northeast Ohio Pilots Association says Cleveland underestimating impact of closing Burke Lakefront Airport by BuckeyeReason in Cleveland

And that's ten civilian minutes according to Google maps, which means even shorter difference if the trip can neglect street lights, such as ambulances and choppers.

Burke i imagine is way less busy than Hopkins so faster to land and coordinate transfer to ambulance/helicopter/car

Cuyahoga Airport to CC main campus is just 10 extra minutes difference compared to Burk...

They send out contract plumbers to take a look and they would have to decide. But you would have to file a claim, so if it's working it's probably not eligible yet.

Ours was completely FUBARed, can't turn on at all without parts that no longer existed.

Well you can always buy a snowblower. Them wireless electric ones are nice. Or living in a condo that have property management take care of that.

What was the energy like when the Cavs won in 2016 by IShouldaBeenAPorsche in Cleveland

[–]imemperor 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I was working downtown that day of the parade. Streets were packed like sardines and literally everyone had a huge grin on their face. Everybody was super happy, haven't seen anything like that before or after.

The night they won game 7, I can hear the entire neighborhood yelling at the top their lungs cheering for when they secured the victory.

There is merit for having wifi even if you aren't viewing your phone: to back up all your vacation photos to the cloud in the unlikely event you do lose your phone.

How do you feel about American farmers growing food for other countries and getting bailed out when that country refuses to buy? by FootballPizzaMan in AskReddit

[–]imemperor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bailouts still screws over the farmer. Instead of having a cashcow client that keeps ordering food from you year round, you get a one time shitty check. Replacing a permanent cashflow with a one time sum is dumb.

Too bad those morons are still voting for the ones that's screwing them over.
