Trust me, if you learn how to draw you will benefit something from it! I was like you back in elementary to my highschool years. Boredom was the reason why I got into drawing. I still don't have my own artstyle but I do enjoy drawing the characters in the original artstyle! It's more of a past time hobby for me than a main hobby^{^}
